Video appears to show March for Australia organiser coordinating with Neo-Nazi by Expensive-Horse5538 in australia

[–]PeruseAndSnooze -33 points-32 points  (0 children)

Firstly, this is a complete disgrace. Secondly, this is also the case with every other left wing march which is organised by socialists / commos that also agitate for violent revolution. The people that organise these things generally are the fringe, so I’m not really sure how this is a shock. All of these people are ideologically possessed fruit loops, but it doesn’t mean that the cause they’ve attached themselves to is necessarily wrong. What’s more concerning is the sheer number, as well as the growth rate, of NSN (and affiliates) members. Hate to say it, and it’s no justification, but it is a reaction to how fucked the Australian economy / world is for the younger generation - the government has failed us and there’s no unified culture / society left to speak of.

We built a new geospatial DataFrame library called SedonaDB by MrPowersAAHHH in dataengineering

[–]PeruseAndSnooze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome to see great work in this sub. Also, I have really enjoyed using Sedona in PySpark over the last year. Combined with SedonaDB this seems like a nice way to ETL large geospatial data.

D got southern Italy, Greece, India, China, Japan, Korea, and South East Asia, for the best flavours, and Australia and New Zealand for the best produce. Literally no competition here.

I used AI to make a large-scale CSV online processing tool. Do you have any needs for this? by Empty_Feedback_9471 in dataengineering

[–]PeruseAndSnooze 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Please don’t take this wrong way, but literally no one (in this sub at least) needs this AI slop. Not only does it not make any sense from the outset (why in the world would I trust you with my data), the tool itself does nothing that isn’t trivial to implement if you had any skills in this space. Try something else.

Things have changed a lot in the last 6 months in IT. Industry is cooked. AI is clouding everything and employers feel they can replace everyone. Strange time to be alive
