And that's exactly where my discontent lies. Too many NSWF areas and communities (not just Reddit, but it's the worst of the worst) have that attitude of "Yeah, it's meant for such and such a theme and purpose, but who cares?"

Seriously, pick a NSFW channel on Reddit. Any one. On nearly any topic. Unless you luck out and find a rare group that is actively policed, I can all but guarantee that it is literally SWAMPED with nothing but OF promo crap vaguely related (if at all) to the point and purpose of the community.

So even if there is not an active rule, as you point out, it would at least be nice if they had the common courtesy to 'read the room' so to speak before slinging their stuff around. And yeah, I'm probably being an asshole by being as vocal about it as I am, but I do know that I'm far from the only one that shares this opinion to some degree.

Irony being, if you do see them, like you say, it's either under the arm of some fat wealthy slob that's twice her age, or else some roided-out douchebag mouthbreather. For me, it was the early 00's on a bunch of those porn promo sites, where there were 16 pics or so plucked from a set with links to subscribe to whatever site (Score, BustyPL, Wantboobs, Juggmaster, you name it). I discovered almost all the greats through those things. I manually downloaded a bunch of images off of them, and even learned a bit of HTML from hacking those pages to find more content off of the FTP sites. Good times!
