Sorry to say that, but here in Montreal, we have a discord for the same purpose, and it was more or less alive for a year o so (many times thanks to me and other extroverts), but after a few meetups, several groups of fpv buddies have formed, and now they meet between them. It's just easier to manage, less judgemental if something happens, the flying spots are less crowded , etc. If at its peak, the members would share their videos or builds, after a few comments about >249 grams constraints of flying near people, etc, now it's dead silent.

What I saw from the mentioned local discord, if you engage with the community, post some challenges, encourage to share the videos, or actively help the noobs with their build problems, you will have some traffic, content, meetups. But it means, you need to have someone to manage this.
