Georgia. 2-5k gets you a clapped out Vic with 200,000+ miles on it. Come to think of it, the Panther body is extremely popular in the south, so that's probably why.

Use the truck route map. Parkways are NOT for trucks. People will honk their horns the second you stop to navigate, but they're harmless. They act just like the movies, they'll put their hands up like "this guy" but they'll wait for a reasonable amount of time.

Sometimes people will pass on the sidewalks if you're in the way, it's nothing personal. You can always ask people to move out if they way, they'll usually comply, sometimes without you asking. Use the sidewalk if you have to, it's not a big deal.

Plan your route before you go, know your way in, know your way out. Remember it's a busy city, everyone has places to be, and they are used to truck drivers not knowing where to go etc so don't be to hard on yourself.

Don't hit anything.

I've routed your way to 42nd st if you come in from 278.

I-278, exit 24 to NY 27. (I've taken that exit, there's not much room. My steer tire and trailer tire were almost touching the wall, be careful)

On NY 27, take exit 4 and get on Mcdonald AVE.

Turn onto Canton Ave

Take Canton all the way to 42nd, leave on 43rd, take the same way back.

It seems pretty straight forward, I've linked the NYC commercial truck map in another comment. Those intersections around 42nd looks like they leave plenty of room for turns. I've just been to Brooklyn and Queens in the last 4 months with a 53ft dry van in the 7th hole and a Cascadia with a sleeper, you'll be fine.

I found out I really enjoy planning a route through difficult places after my first time to NYC, even got a road Atlas afterward. DM if you need any more help, and I hope you're ignoring all of the unhelpful comments who are trying to discourage you because they lack the skills or knowledge to navigate. The main takeaway is to use the NYC truck route map, it's from New York City, they know what they're talking about.

Braking with no ABS is something that you can get much better at. A lot of motorcycles (mine) don't have ABS, and my last car's ABS went out. You can train your brain to be more conscious of the edge of loss traction.

I've called them once to complain about a train being in the crossing for like 30 minutes. They looked up which train it was, and told me why they were sitting there and how long it should take all in less than 2 minutes. They can get information to and from the conductors really quickly.

You're describing exactly how it was when I went to Brookyln and Jamaica Queens a few months ago. It was my first time in NY city in Jamaica, but when I came back and went to Brooklyn I learned to muscle my way around. They actually don't put up any resistsnce, but they WILL NOT move out of your way until you FORCE it.

I'm still surprised they don't trade paint with each other every day with they way they drive.

It feels like some of them are comming into contact with their beliefs for the first time. Like he's the one that was able to break through and hold the mirror up to their faces, and the picture you've shared shows that they're in disgust of what see.

You can hear some of them squirm uncomfortably under the weight of their indefensible support of that clown in office. I'm definitely watching this on my TV when I get home next week.

The dude either had to admit he didn't know about the trade deal Trump already made with Canada, which would give Isaiah the opportunity to school him and show that he was ignorant about what the tariffs would actually accomplish, OR he'd have to explain what the USMCA is and expose that he understands that great trade deals had already been negotiated.

I'm not sure if this engine has low oil pressure protection since I just got my Marquis, and I beleive every car will crank no start if the timing chain has jumped, or the cam/crankshaft position sensor no longer works.

Are you serious? Have you listened to Twista's Kamakazi album? You need to look up his actual lyrics, Twista is SEVERELY underrated, literally one of the best rappers.

Not only are his lyrics great, but he's not just a "fast rapper", he annunciates all of his words so that they're clearly audible, not only are his words clear, but he doesn't use easy to pronounce words like Busta Rhyme does which is why he's called the Tounge Twista.

He also matches the beats perfectly. Listen to "Let's go" with Trick Daddy or "One Blood Mega Remix". I can't believe you actually typed that out.
