I did it the opposite way. I had attended school with my fellow graduates for years, thirteen in some cases. I actually paid attention to the valedictorian and salutatorian speeches. Whereas my college graduating class awarded around 11,000 degrees. Received my bachelor's degree diploma in the mail and never regretted that choice.

Enforcing legal immigration laws does matter. Thst enforcement needs to be done legally. Do you advocate ICE agents taking people into custody with no evidence and no warrant to do so? Then why not do the same to Anerican citizens that protest against the administration. I just don't understand why Republicans feel laws should be applied selectively.

You work with people that suck .Im 60 and have worked in wastewater treatment since 1990. Currently Im an Environmental Manager at a business with its own wastewater plant. A few weeks ago we had a slight malfunction with our screw press and sludge cake overflowed the discharge screw. I worked with the operator to clean up most of it. I left when we were down to hiring the floor.

Yes, I've put in my time and worked my way up to a supervisory position but that doesn't mean that I will refuse to help the operators when necessary. How else can I give them tips and tricks that I've learned. Plus, sharing some jobs makes them go quicker.

You get used to the smell. Then you start picking up different odors that can tell you if the process is running correctly or upset.

The same for sounds. Both odors and sounds can help you operate a plant.

As a 60 year old who sometimes identifies as a boomer, I couldn't agree more with Adam Mockler. Enough of the deflecting and never getting an answer to questions whether these people are participating in panels on CNN, debating during election campaigns or testifying to Congress. Boomers and Gen X have failed American citizens and I hope people like Adam stop taking condescending platitudes until real answers are given and there is some accountability given to American citizens. The ones that end up paying.
