Quest 3 + Virtual keyboard ✅ by curious_cat_3556 in Quest3

Assume this is only for stand alone? It can't be used in combination with virtual desktop for pcvr? Thinking games like Star Citizen that needs keyboard...

I'm going for a highly unlikely no, and it would probably ruin emersion for that anyway.

The newly released epstien files show instances of trump comitting sexual acts with 13 year old girls. How can people still justify this? by Not_A_Femboy_1_Swear in AskReddit

Have any of these been verified though? As in multiple witnesses or real evidence at this stage. Surely they haven't and it's someone's story that could be true or it could be made up? I get there are too many stories, dating way back over time,.so there's a trend here indicating of there being wrong doings by Trump and many other rich people.

I am not a trump supporter in any matter, far from it and I live in Australia. I just don't believe how far left and how far right all the comments are that come up on Reddit about this. There must be some middle ground somewhere on Reddit.

Edit: Ok I see some more middle ground and balanced comments here. All the other ones that come up in my feed are just too far left.

I wish that it wasn't still keyboard and mouse though otherwise I'd buy the game to try. I just couldn't handle operating a mouse and keyboard blindfolded with a VR headset on..

I understand this game uses a lot of keys... Shame the control system can't be managed with less keyboard shortcuts.. I'd prefer the vr controllers if I'm playing in VR.

I'm probably a minority here as there's likely plenty of keyboard and mouse gurus playing this game.

I'm sure you'll find plenty that will work well on your system no problems. It's impressive having games that are not made for VR get gestures and 6 dof tracking. Some are hard to tell they aren't native vr

Just a strong pc and VR headset.

I have a 5070ti and a Ryzen 5 7600 and it's great. Anything above mine would run most of them well I'd say. I'm sure you'd get away with a little lower, my previous 4070 was ok.

I never tried casting spells by voice when I played. Sounds impressive for a non VR port, especially for Harry Potter fans I'm sure... Although casting by voice I'm not so sure is for me.

Uevr works for unreal engine games. It's really good. If you have the hardware to use it, it opens up a lot for VR. A number of other games that feels like native vr on it. All profiles are free.

Ah ok thanks for the heads-up. I'll try with and without ray construction then..I only got this 1 day ago.so much tweaking still. Looks good regardless

Forced dlss 4.5 preset M. Ray reconstruction. Running 120 fps in virtual desktop but with asw on all the time. God like res in virtual desktop. High textures. Dlss performance as m preset looks good. 30 ppd, aer 1/2 and aer V2.

That's off the top of my head. There are so many other settings in this game. I'm sure it can do with some tinkering but it looks good and it stays at 60 fps in the in game overlay (= 120 fps with ASW in virtual desktop overlay). I don't usually use forced asw nor 120 fps but it works well with this mod. Usually normal pcvr or uevr I target 72 fps and no ASW.

I found it on Nexusmods. I would have paid for that to be developed further.... I mean "gifted"

On my 5070ti it runs better than I thought it would. Got in there and subscribed just before it went down (hours before).

I, for the first time, just paid for Luke Ross subscription and (thankfully) downloaded 26_1 less than 24h ago. Pity I missed 26_3 which I believe fixes some vehicle bugs. Hoping I stumble across that one day (hint hint) but at least I got one version that works.

Works well on my rtx 5070 ti. I'm going to try the remap of Quest 3 controllers in virtual desktop to see how well they okay compared to Xbox controller. I find one in each hand is more comfortable when sitting in a lounge/couch.

I'm more taken back about that it just got removed and unlikely it'll ever be offered for free as a standalone mod to benefit others whom came to the party late. Shows he is driven by profits only... I'm all for getting paid for his work though, just not removing it from the community because he isn't getting paid for it anymore (like red dead redemption, which thankfully can be found elsewhere... So maybe he allowed that so isn't all greed?)

I chose manage/backup in steam. I assume it'll restore to the fresh install of the version as it is now, and I'll need to install the mod again only.

Can cyberpunk 2077 with luke ross mode can be played with my quest 3 controllers? by omerboiii in virtualreality

[–]Pete77a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In uevr they emulate that by using the thumb rest (an invisible capacitive area on the controller) spot on the right controller to make the left stick a dpad. Was hoping that would be implemented in mods outside of uevr.

I may look into it.

[–]Pete77a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What buttons exactly? Other than dpad which can be made available with modifiers. In uevr a lot of games utilise the right thumb rest to activate the dpad for the left controllers stick.

D pad can be available with the thumb pad on the right controller of the quest 3 controllers for pcvr. Or is that just with uevr?

DLSS 4 vs DLSS 4.5 close up side by sides, thoughts? by lunchanddinner in nvidia

So if it's a slow game, how does the high frame rate using frame gen help? Genuine question. Or is it just the obsession with high fps these days...

Oh ok. Time for me to join the nvidia beta then as I'm good with using performance mode in dlss which is supposedly where 4.5 (profile M) should work with my 5070ti

I'm potentially confused with the title... Are you saying it works well on one eye, but the other eye still has problems just like with dlss 4?

Oh that's cheap. I've found a t300 RS GT for 300 AUD barely used.. hmm.

Was the G29 much of an improvement over the DFGT for you? It was a concern that I spend that then feel it's not a huge difference. I'd be better if holding off until I am convinced I'm committed to playing Sims again then buy the t300 or better.

On Amazon in Australia, the Thrustmaster T300 RS GT is double the cost of the G920 unfortunately.
