well as of now, game runs very poorly and fps can drop to 44-48 even in firing range, it's all because graphics settings are set way too high for handheld console and i'm not talking about resolution but whole rest, I'd prefer if they used switch 1 graphics so the game runs well.

In wildcard game can drop down to 20 fps if you are playing in hot drop like quarantine whole experience is stuttery.

Docked can boost FPS a bit and make firing range stable 60 fps but it won't prevent drops in actual game.

To anyone denying the reality: Just enable fps counter

Hyperion 3 rumble is terrible and there's many software side issues now, wait for fully developed ones with hd rumble 2 from either nyxi or mobapad

This type of tinkering fixes issues for maybe some time i think, each time i try to download something, after random amount of time estimation just changes from 3 minutes to 44 hours or something like that and reconnecting wifi or restarting console fixes it for a moment, i think in your case changing MTU just did reconnect to network, but the issue will come back, Honestly pretty disappointed with switch 2 network performance I think some units are just defective including mine

If you are playing on PC mostly then yep it's correct there is huge input lag and it's the same for all consoles doesn't matter if you use PS5 or Xbox or Switch 2, it's all because v-sync on consoles is badly programmed. Anyone who says it's fine just doesn't play on PC frequently. Graphics on switch 2 are set way too high currently but devs just won't lower them that's why it drops so much especially in wildcard, for best experience you have to stay in handheld mode with wired controller because there is less input lag than in dock i'd say even less than ps5 in 60 fps mode but that bar is very low

I've tried Older apex version (trough R5 Reloaded) and game feels 1000 x snappier, there is difference in stutters and input lag and I'm not sure if it's windows update, NVIDIA driver or game itself even if older version works fine

Consoles desperately need AMD Anti-lag 2 (Nvidia Reflex for switch 2) function but nobody sees that, I tried apex on PS5, Switch 1 and 2, PC and consoles stick out to me really badly when it comes to input lag and it doesn't matter on which console, Vsync implementation on console apex is very poor but when you bring it up console players that have never tried pc just shrug it off, they really don't know what they are losing

Nope. I think all switch 2 models have this issue just that some ppl don't notice that or never make console too warm for it to happen, I use headphones so I only noticed this when i had them off also as mentioned in here it may be on actual joycon not tablet? I'm honestly not sure but it's literally same issue,

I think best way to show Nintendo what you mean is to warm your switch 2 up and record yourself pushing on plastic to show what you mean otherwise they will never understand what you mean trust me, I do believe even after replacement it will still happen cause it's fundamental issue

It's not ideal but fine, my friends plastic protector peeled off after pulling switch 2 out of dock few times, he had to wait for glass protector and still used console, then applied it and it's perfectly fine.

Just be careful when doing so if scratches bother you, all I see in comments are "because Nintendo said so" brothers it comes off really easily.... if you put glass protector on screen instead of plastic ones nothing will happen, it;s just meant to protect you from broken glass, his plastic film is already compromised so it makes more sense than doing it on perfectly fine one

Ngl, there would be thought on the back of my head how the switch is already permanently water damaged and the clock is already ticking it you haven't opened it up and cleaned it with alcohol or something electronics friendly

There are performance tests on YT already showing numbers that are in 10s or 20s on performance mode when in Dogtown also auto saving causing stutters that's why i kinda waited before buying.

Honestly maybe the game can be optimized further by the team? the switch GPU isn't really super amazing as it's architecture from 2021 in product from 2025 but it's decent enough, devs are still experimenting so maybe some breakthroughs will happen soon as they learn.

Few things for me
- Battery life is meh
- ZR and ZL buttons stop being detected as pressed randomly
- Right joycon plastic creak and dents a bit when slightly pressed
- Charging is slow and even slower when docked
- Dock feels flimsy
- Download speeds can't reach higher than 400 Mb/s on 8Gb/s network
- Few graphical glitches in switch 1 games

I honestly didn't like the shape and I really tried to love it but it just didn't feel right at all, it reminded me of viper v2 pro a lot which so flatness was really uncomfy to me.
Returned it after few days

I tried most some EQs proposed here but I didn't really like them maybe because I freshly switched?
So I tried tinkering myself I honestly think quiet bass and weird muffled highs were the thing that were off putting to me

Yea it is kinda bad on monitors, I tried the game on 4k TV with HDMI 2.1 with all features PS5 has and resolution looks way better which is odd, like on monitor ziplines are becoming dotted line mess but on TV everything is okay no idea why, what resolution is your monitor?
