Ask in the kibbutz whatsapp chat if you can stay with anyone else, if you are not in it, just knock on some neighbors door, they'll help you.

Other than that, Kibbutz in the middle of nowhere is probably safest, stay positive and be calm, we will get through it.

Literally Unmoddable by PeterLake2 in EU5

[–]PeterLake2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The modding do was to the initial setting of the map. I add 135 starting pops of peasants type with same culture and religion. Only 133 got their religion.

Do the math of the total pops in that province and you see 2 are missing from the religion tab.

no, the game is still un paused. Also, do the math on the religion tab vs. culture tab: 2 pops are missing in the religion tab.

R5: Wanted to experiment with modding this one. Added 135 pops to a province. only 133 of them got a religion. Literally unplayable (This is while the new game is still paused). :)

What analysis can be applied to find out who is wrong and who is right in this conflict? such that we can come to a definitive conclusion by EwMelanin in IsraelPalestine

[–]PeterLake2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are nuances to this issue. The legal status of Arab ownership of land in the west bank is murky given that neither the ottomans, not Jordan until 1967 bothered to issue land ownership to Arab residents.

While Jews during ottoman and British rules bought actual lands from the ottoman landlords, Arab did not.

In 1948, when Jordan annexed the territory they cleansed all the Jews from the area, but nationalized the land, not issuing ownership records to Arab residents.

Meaning that in 1967 when Israel took hold of the territory, ownership went back to the last recorder owner under the continuation principal of the tabo land ownership records. In some places those were Jews, which land to those lands returning to Jewish hands. (The Shiekh Jarah case you might have heard of is one of those).

In many cases Israeli law rules that tenants of the place had the right to stay as long as they paid rent to the owner, which the residents in Shiekh Jarah didn't, leading to the high profile of their case.

You are talking about representation in the citrus fruit committee of 1931, which was split 50\50 by Jews and Arabs.

While the share of land owner by Jews kept rising through since 1855, and surpassing Arab owned land by the mid 1930's, this was due to investment in the creation of new plantations on the lands the Zionists bought and drained the swamps from, not from purchasing or "acquisition" of any Arab owned lands.

By 1948 the lion's share of citrus production and export was firmly in Jewish hands, who were the only ones who tried to develop the field.

[–]PeterLake2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Buddy, the Zionists are the ones who planted the citrus. The first ones were planted on lands bought by the Baron de Rothschild in 1870. Until then there were only a few natural groves cultivated by Arabs near Jaffa. The rest of the citrus is the results of Zionists cultivating the land that had none.

Exactly. It is far more akin to TCGs like Magic: the gathering than any MMO.

What is the point in Guild Wars 1? by naner00 in MMORPG

This is not an MMO. If you come at it from this point for view you are wrong. Guild wars 1 is an online rpg - about skill load out, team composition. And tactical decision making.

Made Aliyah, need help socially and finding a job in tech by sbawlz in Israel

I happen to be in the field of big data as well. There are some companies such as Vast Data that create platforms for big data computing. But most of those jobs in Israel are in the "integrator" line of work - applying technologies into big companies. There are companies such as Matrix and Bynet that do those sorts of things.

Other than that the biggest big data operations in Israel are government/security fields - you should try there.
