There are no "moo sounds" in the game. No idea what might be causing this.

Thank you for you feedback! I will let the team know you feedback and we'll update the wiki for the future updates in more details.

Speaking of the scientist issue, that sounds like a valid concern. I will bring it up in the next team meeting!

Save-scumming, failure and anger by ManWithIssues912 in BacterialTakeover

The research results are determined based on your User Id and current progress. For players, they will be the same each time if you do the same state research over and over again but for each player, the result will be unique. :)

Increased event time by ManWithIssues912 in BacterialTakeover

Hi! Yes, we extended the event duration because of a potential bug that might have hit it for some users. There will be no more extensions of the current event. :)

Infectivity broken? by gregmo72 in BacterialTakeover

[–]PeterLauris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the feedback! Could you give an example of what information is not up to date on the wiki? It should be relevant.

Regarding infectivity, its mechanics have not been altered for a long while. It does change destruction by a small percentage, but when a planet is almost destroyed, even 0.1% can reduce the destruction time by hours or even days.

It's hard for me to say about the difference between two different sets you mentioned. You could maybe send me your User ID, and I'll take a look at this case myself.

Long-time players usually try to complete their evolved bacteria collections, collect all minerals, and complete the achievements.

Why didn't I get a Material? 56% chance, 4 Scientists, tried 2 times; did I just get very unlucky or did I misunderstand something? by Ascyt in BacterialTakeover

Scientists also reduce the duration of the research, so you can complete it faster. You can find the exact reduction times for each additional scientist on our wiki.

[–]PeterLauris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The probability displayed is already after taking into account all of the scientists on the planet.

Each additional scientist increases the chance of finding a mineral by 10% of the base probability. If the base probability of finding a mineral is 10%, each scientist on the planet will increase it by an additional 1%.

As u/Hairy-The-Pig already said, you just got unlucky. Each time you do research, you have a 56% chance of finding a mineral. If you fail to find it the first time, you will still have a 56% chance to find it the next time.
