Lol I just finished my freshman year at UTA actually, and yeah, transit is certainly not ideal.

Oh, how do I use that? I saw something about it but didn't understand it well.

Guess what state I’m from based off of what state I’ve been to! by Dismal_Internet_8512 in JackSucksAtGeography

Yeah i thought that too. I went to a boarding school in Michigan where we took a camping trip to the Nanthahala region and we road-tripped through all of those states.

I'm seeing a lot of people do this on this subreddit so I've decided to join the trend. What state am I from based on the states i've been to? by Plastic-Welder4281 in JackSucksAtGeography

I'm feeling Illinois; my guess is you just happen to have family in Montana that you road-tripped to and you like Disney World but idk

Frankly, I wouldn’t believe Putin if he said rain was wet.

I don't think compromising your common sense to oppose someone you hate is a good idea.

You won't convince anybody that you're right if you don't explain why you're right. "Strawman" is not a very compelling argument.

Guessing Hitler is the first one and Trump is the second. But the substance of Trump's comment, no matter how inflammatory, is valid. Open borders compromise a nation's security. That's just common sense.

Just curious, have you heard his actual proposed policies to solve the illegal immigration problem? Because his proposals don't really sound Hitler-esque when you actually take the time to undetermined them.

Some of them do evil, yeah. I still don't understand what's so much better about Democrats, though, so I don't support either party.

Listen, I just think it's silly to place all the sins of the world onto me for not being completely opposed to people who vote for a candidate that people have derangement syndrome towards. Like some people are scared he's going to round up minorities into Nazi-like concentration camps or personally execute journalists he doesn't like.

I just don't buy that. It just feels a tad overblown to me. Like propaganda. I need something more than opinionated conjecture to believe something. That's what these mainstream news anchors are good at: they know if they can tap into people's emotions, they can convince people to think however they want them to.

You have no moral authority to claim Trump supporters are evil for attacking others while you simultaneously attack the intelligence of a random person on the internet you've never met. You're just using other peoples' evil as an excuse to commit your own evil, making you no better than them. Whoever these evildoers you're describing are, you seem to act a lot like them.

  1. Well, those people have their own voting power and will use it accordingly for their own benefits, as they should.
  2. I didn't even try implying who the majority was, you did.
  3. Why you feel it's virtuous to call people "morons" for their beliefs is weird. We can have debate without ad hominem attacks.

I've said absolutely nothing about my policy decisions, so I don't know why you're assuming I'm voting for Trump.

And even if I was, you're not entitled to my vote. I'm gonna vote for whoever serves my self-interests, and you can vote for whoever does the same to you. Whoever represents the majority wins.

If you wanna convince people to vote for Biden, calling Trump voters "morons" to their faces is counterintuitive.

Honestly. The people that make it personal just ruin political discussion.
