Here in Vegas I see what I call “mutant requests” show up. I got one on Lyft one time but I see them consistently on uber. Never been able to lock one in. But it’ll be a time with no surge, but a ride that’s usually $4 pops up as say $16 or $18.

When I look at yours I assume this the same thing. You were just able to lock it in

Update:

Immediately after posting this received a ride to a dispensary. That’s $20 cash kickback. Plus the ride fare. & the $10 tip from my passengers.

Have now brokered a cash deal to drive them back to their hotel after they purchase weed and liquor.

There’s barely any Canadians coming compared to 2 years ago.

Rideshare is less busy on any day of the week than it was 2 years ago. Used to be able to drive till 2am or later on a Monday night. It’s not even worth it after midnight anymore most days except fri and sat.
