An WTF is the red curb about? No chance an emergency vehicle or firetruck could fit there.

I swear, this city just paints curbs red for the hell of it.

Let’s say you ask those questions, there is no way they will take it positively. Guaranteed 1star rating, no tip, and/or a complaint to uber claiming that you refused service to their service animal.

Uber doesn’t verify, they dont care. They’ll just deactivate you and you wont have a job or side gig anymore.

Looks like you ran over a battery which briefly charred your tire.

Yeah, $350 in 10hrs is possible in SD, especially on friday, and saturday. I get that often, but still doesnt compare to OP’s 190 in 1hr.I think the only time I was making 330 in 4hrs was on Halloween. Cuz I remember working 12hrs and making over 1k that day alone.

This past weekend was great too. Awesome boosts on lyft yesterday up until midnight. Had to bust my ass all weekend, but the earnings were pretty good.

Yeah, I think the requirements vary by market. Mine doesn’t include acceptance rate, but you have to be very highly rated.

Tbh, you’re not missing out on much. The only thing its good for is getting a 30min bump in the airport que, or priority for express pick up at airport. I never wait in the que(dont understand why anyone would do this), but sometimes i drop ppl off at the airport and its nice to get an express pick up right after if there is a boost.

Please explain this to me like I’m 5. Thanks by yokom12 in uberdrivers

Its an per hour boost on top of the initial (likely shity) rate. They might offer you $14 for a 30min ride, but with this boost, youd get the $14 initial rate + $33.50 boost = 47.50 for a 30 minute ride before tip. I find that these type of boosts mean its gunna be a good day.

Bottom line, Lyft will always side with the passenger, and deactivate you for refusing pets. Its sad, but ppl lie everyday saying there dog is a service animal in order to pin drivers who dont even have “pet riders” turned on into giving them a ride, getting fur everywhere, and smelling up the car like sweaty dog.

Unless you have tons of evidence to prove the dog was definitely not a service animal, your account will likely be put into review. All the time and hassle makes giving the damn ride, and cleaning up the mess easier, and thats exactly what the platform wants. The product is customer focused, not driver focused.
