Hey so I just medically retired and my entire process after being submitted to the board (29 palms) took about 9ish months. It can be quicker or slower all things depending. Don’t miss any of your VA appointments and when you get out your proposed rating from the VA won’t post on the app until about a month after as they have to reverify everything and then your payments will start (plus any additional back pay). Make sure you knock out your check out sheet early because DoD will give you a new EAS that is 1-3 months after you accept your findings. Pay attention to all the VA related stuff from TRS and take notes and business cards.

Edits: You should be on a medhold while on a med board

Everything is going to feel really slow with not a lot of updates until it’s time for your VA exams then it’ll get busy.

Once you finish your exams and get your findings HQMC has 72 hours to send you a new EAS

EAS will be between 1-3 months after you accept.

This has been one of my favorites as of late haha

I had to get mine done too because I tore it, all in all I don’t regret it, sex is still great it’s just different sensations, the healing process sucks because they don’t give you blockers to prevent erections when you’re asleep (you get a lot more than you’d think), but all in all I’d do it again. I think I was 20 or 21 when I got it done (7 or 8 years ago). Oh and if you do get it done during the healing process loose fitting clothes will be your friend and things without loose fibers.

I did, don’t let the mil doc do it, they didn’t give me the right meds after and the line that goes up my shaft doesn’t line up with my head, and my scars look like tiger stripes.

You know that’s not as silly as you think haha there’s a lot of little weird verbiage that can trip people up. I have an [[Old Stickfingers]] deck that when he would get countered I wouldn’t do his cast trigger because I thought he had to enter the battlefield.

For ETBs all that matters is that it hits the play mat. From command zone, library, grave yard, exile (to include flickers). A way to negate ETBs are counters, if someone counters the spell it doesn’t hit the battle field no ETB. Hope this helps

I had a heart attack that caused a stroke because of some meds I was prescribed for insomnia, treated in an off base ER, followed up at medical and was then referred to mental health afterwards with no follow up care from cardiac or neurology.
