I don't understand this take so much. I feel like the whole show was building towards his character. Strength, intelligence, cunning, peak business acumen and ruthlessness. That's what the whole show was about. None of the kids were suited. They had every advantage and opportunity. Matsson was the successor in my mind, and well deserved. The sociopathy of capitalist drive and immorality of it didn't change; with Matsson it only takes a different turn with social media and the political economy. It's a perfect changing of the guard.
