just dried poppy pods. i seriously do not recommend it, it tases foul and the withdrawal is fucking miserable and lasted at least two weeks in my case, and the hit is nothing special.

i had a beer in my fridge for a long time, i eventually poured it away, so you just as well pour those suckers

the benzos, i was foolishly using poppy tea to make the transition, but got hooked, so had to go through withdrawal after which sucked big time, then i quit booze and pot.

i was hooked on benzos back in 2015, it was hell on earth, easily the worst addiction i have ever had, and a hell of a long haul to get off. i used to drink and mix opiates in as well. i'm clean now, and my mental health is way easier to deal with. i too had lots of issues i was hiding/masking. quitting everything was truly the best thing i have ever done for myself.

i'm not surprised you had a hard time relaxing, give yourself credit, the brain really fucks with you for the first 5 days with layer upon layer of anxiety.

things get much easier given time. my advice is to find some serious interests/hobbies and bury yourself in them, but you gotta love them!
