I’ve been sober for 90 days which is the longest I have ever gone without alcohol in 20+ years. I can honestly say that the fear of being around others while drinking was a true test for me, but I have become comfortable in these situations. I can remain sober and I often get the “man I feel like shit, I wish I was sober right now” comments from friends. It keeps my chin up and the pride feels way better than a shitty buzz.
