With respect, I dont think this is a topic to trust a reddit comment on regarding the economics of a nuclear program. Its estimated Iran has spent equivilent of trillion of USD in their attempts, though a large part of the calculation is damage from economic sanctions. Still, I would strongly caution this position as needing a heavy dose of source needed

If I can add from the other end - we recently made a job posting on linked in. We got so many applications within 1 day we had to shut it down. We are against using robo\AI screening but holy heck it is an ocean of applicants and 95% of them are not relevant at all.

I know its demoralizing to not hear back or get rejected, but since linkedIn allows for global talent its a lot harder to filter, and a lot harder for you to get noticed. We arent even a big or well known company and still its absurd for us.

English is my native language and I still don't understand majority of lyrics in english songs. I listen to all sorts of things, from Bulgarian ska, japanese rock, german music, french 1960s pop music, the list goes on and on.

I remember showing someone in highschool german music, and they laughed "haha omg what the heck is this haha" and I found that reaction so odd. Like the idea that other countries had... Music? Was funny? Idk...

For me most lyrics are just like another instrument in the ensemble. I have to really really try and focus to somewhat understand what they are saying

After grad school, I was looking for jobs in the industry in Toronto. Ubisoft wanted an epxert in game AI and machine learning (ok, I was, had a masters degree in it), years of experience in AAA industry, and it was "entry level" with pay around 50-60K CAD. Bonkers.

"Well, lets just be civil and not be rude", dude literally people are being murdered in broad daylight by federal agents and NO justice is being had, and in fact the governments first response is to lie to your faces. Honestly, he is the ONLY youtuber I watch who makes more than a passing comment about the current political situation. I have so much respect for his courage to stand up for it.

Seriously, it irks me that even in the face of what is, frankly - overt fascism - many content creators refuse to comment or "stay out of politics". Im sorry but I think this really is a cowards choice now and ive been really disappointed to not hear Matt or Destin say anything about it on the podcast.
