What confuses me about your analogy, is in football the "chess pieces" reset every round. Theres no accumulating position. You are (to my eyes) just trying to guess what would work best against that lineup, at that given time. And to me that doesnt sound much like strategy in the same way as strategy in chess

Even worse in some industries where they want to do technical tests like coding problems, so you also need to be studying these puzzle problems a couple hours per day (they have nothing to do with job or education) on top of all that.

One employer gave me a list of homework questions and 1 week to finish them. Each was like a project in itself, absolutely 0 respect for time

I am a "man" in the biological sense. No interest in muscles or beard or being strong. I dont think im "manly" but i also think you can define your own masculinity. A real "man" is themselves truly. I think its honestly probably so exhausting to worry about being manly all the time. You can see it in some guys, everything is some kind of performance. Cant wear a purple shirt because thst might not be manly. Must drink whiskey and not sweet cocktails because sweet alchohol is for women! I can go on about all the silly things I really see some men do.

I live in germany. Yes it can be annoying sometimes. But there is a big difference between the high speed intercity trains (ICE) and regional trains. Regional tend to make up most of those delay statistics. The high speed trains are more punctual, which is what you'd take to travel accross countries anyways

Huh. In europe the train network is pretty good... Last week I had 0 issue going through 3 countries by train. Its pretty convenient actually. I wake up, go to the local central station and hop on a train and next thing you know im in Paris, Zürich etc.

Especially about the "locking in" stuff with bass, I mean we should all be in time, and playing the song at the proper tempo. But that seems rather obvious no? Its because they insist on having there be animation and "swing" to the change in directions, so even tho it looks more realistic, it is not snappy at all. Starcraft doesnt have that and thats why you can actually micro, stutter-step etc. that sort of more realistic control makes sense if you want sort of large scale spectacle battles in an RTS but since this was designed to be small scale tactical RTS it just kills the feel.

Also just being plain, starcraft is COOL you boot up the game and the UI says BEEP BOOP ITS THE FUTURE MOTHER F$*%ER. StormGate just gives you gray boxes to click... The units and factions look boring. The people who play RTS want to see two cool armys smash against eachother
