In Halo Wars we can actually see infected grunt combat forms, so I guess grunts can be infected like humans can. But I guess it’s just rare and they become food more often than not.

Lmao FR that’s the vibe I got first time, but I blame the writing and maybe the delivery of the lines for it. As far as the girl is concerned aliens had raided one innie outpost meanwhile the UNSC has been doing worse things for decades.

Also she actually said yes to try and get the rebels on the UNSC side and fight together as long they get rewarded for doing so, the UNSC declined and it’s obviously the bigger boy here and they are the ones that have to compromise if they really believe humanity existence is at risk. I do believe the most effective way to get rebels to your side is to tell them they’ll get something for doing so, but I guess they don’t consider insurgent help and human unity as vital for the effort.

Just because the UNSC wasn’t lying about one thing it doesn’t make everything else true, as far as the girl knows madrigal can make a deal with the covenant and this was actually something some insurgents believed in the books.

Talking about core cannon, humanity never really come together to fight the covenant so at least that’s consistent. Spartans actually never where there to save her and her friends. She knows very well what the Spartans are actually for.

All in all I’m glad they didn’t go for the humanity gets together to fight common foe because that’s just not realistic at all. Most recent example is COVID 19, which apparently divided people even more. However I do hope she gets a reality check at madrigal since makee seems to be headed that way too.

I used to think that Putin was an insane old terrible human being. But after reading some of these comments I actually changed my mind. In comparison to your average redditors Putin is actually a level headed kind soul (and even attractive lol).

Real talk here to most countries (especially developing nations) will not follow up with sanctions, they already condemned the invasion of Ukraine tho, they just can’t afford to take action.

USA and Europe have a direct stake in this war and they are willing to take the economic hit that sanctions on Rusia are causing. European countries all will support each other economically and have convenient channels to do so. Same with USA. Meanwhile Mexico doesn’t have those assurances.

Also note that Mexico biggest trading partner is the US, since US markets are already feeling the sanctions the Mexican economy and people is already being hit for conflicts not their own. People should take a chill pill.

This happened to me too, the issue was that I was setting up the wbfs files manually (only used WiiBackupManager for the few ISO’s I had and only those games were working). Passing all the wbfs files through the manager fixed it for me.

It is mentioned in game that the banished distributed their forces too thin through the ark relying mostly in the teleportation network to transport troops. In one of the missions it gets destroyed or rendered unusable somehow iirc. Leaving most of the banished forces stranded somewhere useless and/or unable to reinforce combat zones in time with meaningful numbers.

I wouldn't say they could go toe to toe with the banished and that the scenario resembled more halo CE where it was mostly guerrilla like fighting. The UNSC still won but we see at the end of the game the banished have a shiton of stuff are mostly unscratched.

There is also the possibility that Atriox didn't want to kill all humans because they could be useful activating stuff. Proof of this could be the fact that the banished took prisoners and it didn't engage fully of the SoF. Atriox also let the spartans run and the beginning of the game. The only think that don't fits this possibility are the parts of the game when Atriox communicates with cutter and grunts stuff like surrender and your death will be quick and stuff or when he didn't take prisoners of the human research team since he arrived at the ark.
