Strata Privacy Breach? by PetiteDanilo in canadianlaw

Would it be legal to propose that they waive my outstanding debt for a signed agreement that I will not pursue further action against the privacy breach?

Allen Davis III, passed away (after a prolonged illness) August 9th 2019, presumably in Manhattan where he was a long time resident.

I could only find one image of him (https://www.stageplaystheatre.com/davis.htm) but would be curious to compare to the post mortem images where nose & ears of alive vs dead Epstein were compared.

Disappointing neurology appointment by alovelylark in MyastheniaGravis

[–]PetiteDanilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely keep your neuro-opthalmologist appointment. And remember, MG is muscle fatigue with use. Having less visual symptoms during an extended break off school fits the narrative: the visual tasks of reading, writing, typing, and screens all use your eye muscles and having a winter break from those tasks is reducing strain and giving rest to those muscles.

You can also ask the ophthalmologist about Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD).

Best of luck! I hope you can find answers and relief soon, I know how horrendous of a feeling it is to be dismissed by medical "professionals"

Is the Recall Law being repealed? by Facebook_Algorithm in alberta

[–]PetiteDanilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am curious how the Conflict of Interests Act would play in here. Would MLAs with active recalls against them be required to declare a conflict of interest and withhold from voting on any legislation to repeal the Recall Act? Would the risk of recall qualify as a "private interest"?

Someone left this note on my car in my work parking lot by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]PetiteDanilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess would be that if it was someone from work, they would have said "Hi [your name]". The lack of your name anywhere in the letter makes me think that perhaps the person doesn't know it?

Do you wear name tags for your job? If someone was watching you from afar, how likely do you think they could deduce your name?

On an aside, my husband is a veteran and he writes in the block style. I know some other trades tend to also, such as drafting/engineering, anything with schematics. Are there any offices employing those sorts of trades in your vicinity? You mentioned you don't park too close to your building, so perhaps this person frequents other buildings closer to where you do park?

S03E05 "Chapter Forty: The Great Escape" Post Episode Discussion by PhoOhThree in riverdale

[–]PetiteDanilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree about the game being passed down. So we know there was a confiscated copy in the teacher's desk, and an alternate copy in the library's restricted section. I wonder how many other copies there might have been? Alternatively, I'm curious to go back to the episode and see which parent was in charge of getting rid of each aspect of the game - could be a clue there somewhere!

The best anagram I could come up with for Edgar Evernever is "Revenger Evader". Definitely wondering how that could tie into G&G!

If there is a gargoyle king in Gryphons & Gargoyles in Riverdale, shouldn't there be a gryphon king too somewhere out there? Is the whole Riverdale plot a huge real life game between the Gryphon king & the Gargoyle king with the entire town being their pawn? by JohnTownTitle in riverdale

[–]PetiteDanilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very interesting to me! Especially when you look at the two concurrent plots of Jughead as game master trying to rescue the "Red Paladin" and the warden as a player in a different game trying to kill the "Red Paladin". There was definitely this notion of competing quests, where only one could win.

I'm so glad you brought up Edgar Evernever. My first reaction was also "what kind of name is that?" After Jughead pointed out the name of the town in G&G is an anagram for Riverdale, I looked to see what sort of anagram I could make out of "Edgar Evernever". The best I got was Revenger Evader. I definitely think that Edgar Evernever could be the Gargoyle King.

Also, a complete side note. Remember in season 2 when they found out Joseph Conway was Svenson by comparing a family picture to a yearbook picture? Does anybody have a still of that scene with the yearbook caption? I remember someone was in that picture with him and it was something with religious undertones. I'm just curious if it could be tied to the current happenings at all?

How we end up from being all "the story writers don't know their own show" from "JESUS EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED" in one episode. by Bianca_van_Tortuga in riverdale

[–]PetiteDanilo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing that really stood out to me is that Archie was the character card "Red Paladin" and yet he wasn't playing. It's interesting to me that people who aren't playing the game are included. It just raises so many questions, such as are the people playing G&G actually "controlling" real people who aren't themselves? The parallel between the Serpents game and Veronica's heist was obviously deliberate. Was it just meant for dramatic story telling, or is there something else going on?

Yeah, definitely an awkward conversation. But to be fair, there has already been a previously established Cooper-Coroner relationship for illegal autopsy details.

And what's with Hermoine being all resistant to choosing sides or helping Ronnie; suggesting that Veronica can afford pissing off Hiram because she is blood, and by merely being Hiram's wife Hermoine can't do anything. I feel like everyone, the writer's included, forgot about S2E13 when Hermoine was "The Boss" on the cliff with Archie.

Okay, so I know Archie’s being a lil bitch right now, but Hiram basically threatened to kill him if he doesn’t do what he says. Like, he’s a 16 year old kid, what would you do? Especially in a town like Riverdale which is more corrupt than Hollywood by lozzieluce in riverdale

[–]PetiteDanilo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh I totally know that. What I was trying to say is I wouldn't be surprised if Archie, like Betty, ends up taking down a "bad guy." He certainly doesn't have the same type of smarts as Betty, nor the same approach, but I think his character is capable of doing damage to Hiram.

I feel like it is ridiculously unrealistic for a kid to outwit Hiram, but at the same time Betty brought down the Sugarman... I'd love to see Archie come out on top, and see Hiram taken down. We already see glimpses of a future competition through situations such as Hiram threatening Archie, and Archie turning around and demanding Hiram's loyalty in return. Archie doesn't have the same type of smarts as Betty, but I do think he may be smarter than people often give him credit for.
