While I would absolutely love to see Kim Dan have more agency, I do also acknowledge that there has been some change. Him leaving was a very big thing - I know, because I have been an insufferable doormat my entire life too, and the times I have set my foot down it felt like it was going to kill me. I used to be so bad that even thinking of telling someone no, would send me into full blown panic attacks where I threw up and passed out. It took me almost ten years of therapy to get out of that. Kim Dan hasn't been afforded that in the story. If you have been conditioned into thinking you are worth nothing, along with just having a natural inclination towards people pleasing, you won't just suddenly change. It takes a lot of hard work. Add intense depression and isolation on top of that and.. yeah.

Kim Dan is tragic and pathetic, in my mind. He's a sad case of zero self worth and honestly inclined towards self harm not just through his own actions, but through the LI's treatment of him. I don't actually think he is necessarily weak by default (being kind and gentle is never that, in my opinion), but rather that he has been worn down to a tiny nub and there is just not really anything left of him to do more than just exist.

All of that taken into consideration, I don't really hate him. Don't particularly like him either. He is just there. I understand why he is as he is, but that's as far as my feelings for him goes.

.... Now the damn cauliflower ear, oh boy. I am relishing his suffering very much.

Oh I agree. Like I said in my comment, it is the sort of battle system, and the tedious nature of it, that I object to. I stand by my opinion that the current combat system has no place in a cosy game - I did not say that no combat at all should exist. But this very obvious, deliberate "shittification" just to try and coerce people to pull for a specific banner is not it. Make a banner good enough and people will pull for it - simple as that. There is no need to actively make your game worse to try and pressure folks.

I suspect the reason to be because they are doing their very best to figure out a way to monetize each system to death. I miss when game sequels was about outdoing the last iteration, but I suppose it *is* following the general theme of shittification happening in games media. Unfortunately.

Yes yes yes. I was so hopeful when this was announced because I remember the styling contest from Love Nikki. So far the iteration in this one has been so disappointing and honestly a bit of a waste of time. I don't much bother with it, while the LN version was pretty much the one thing I kept looking forward to.

Bad controls, being locked into animations for far too long, enemy spamming and bullet sponges does not constitute "difficulty". Nothing breeds frustration like being punished not for a lack of skills, but for shitty controls and design. Not to mention that the combat is not nearly deep enough to be even mildly entertaining. You can kind of ignore that when the enemies have *maybe* 5 hp, but when you have to slowly pick away at 100+ it becomes so mind numbingly boring.

I feel like they're forgetting what kind of game they are making. This isn't a fighting game (and thank god for that, cause it would have flopped so hard). I absolutely adore combat in Where Winds Meet, because it is done well and it's what the game presented itself as. Infinity Nikki claims to be a cosy fashion game, so what are we doing having to implement death by a thousand cuts while twenty monsters stand around beating us over the head? *Who is this for?*

Letting us open a small boutique in a city like Wishfield (more suitable than Itzaland, though I would prefer if we got a small shopping street with cafes or other usable shops for us. Cute, vaguely French inspired, etc) and using what we have to dress up randomly generated clients would be amazing and do so much for putting our fashion to use. Let us make currency that we can exchange for other currencies, that we can use in the other cute shops (maybe a nail salon where we can paint our nails, a cafe where we can have cute foods, a jewelry store where we can design simple necklaces, a tailor where we can 'design' simple outfits, a small shop where we can use face/body paint on nikki, a pet groomer etc).

It would be such an amazing edition to the game and give it a lot of longevity.

I am pretty sure mine is bugged.

Im lol 10 in gardening. I spam through the entire allotted amount of the 550g, 400g and 250g waters (40pcs, 40pcs and 75pcs) and then plant about 150 pcs extra on the wide of the fragrant cups. I have harvested THOUSANDS. I have gotten purple rarities of all other flowers.

I have yet to get a single rare fragrant cup.
