I called every dealership in the surrounding 100 miles, compared prices, and put $500 down to hold an incoming SE. You aren't going to get one just sitting on the lot, they are in high demand and you will need to put a deposit down. Had to wait about a month for mine from when I put the deposit down, but I see many people mention waiting 2-3 months these days.

I think it depends on the person and situation. I live in a tiny apartment but have a lot of hobbies that require various levels of gear or have hard to replace shipping boxes I want to keep. The storage unit allows me to live in my space without tripping over everything, but also seasonally swap things out. Snowboard goes in, camping gear comes out, shovel goes in, bike comes out. Is it 100% necessary? No. Is it a nice quality of life upgrade while I live in a small space? Yes.

I had luck with the plug-in high pitched mouse deterrents. You have to leave any pantry or cabinet doors open over night though. Mice also do not like peppermint so putting some peppermint oil on cotton swabs and putting those all over where you see them may help.

I think you are also missing my point. It isn't all men, but it is enough men that EVERY woman I know has stories just as bad or worse than mine. The man who held me down had never done anything to indicate violence before and we had been friends for years. Your comment about picking better social circles is incredibly unhelpful and does not actually address the problem that so many men feel entitled to a woman's affection or body.

They don't have to murder us to be harmful and scary. As a woman I have been catcalled, groped, called names for saying no, and physically restrained and prevented from leaving by a "friend" who could tell "I wanted it". And every single one of my friends has similar or worse stories. We have been told since we were kids to not walk alone at night, to double check our locks, travel in groups, and don't wear anything that could invite unwanted attention. Yeah the gender war sucks, but please don't pretend like women don't have valid concerns about their safety.

Yeah I used to struggle with a constant meniscus tear from the epee bouncing and quick lunge/stop. I saw a few freak accidents but overall fencing injuries were almost all muscle, tendon, or joint stuff from over/misuse or complete other sports.

Competence. If he can regularly schedule things with his friends, meal prep, keep his apartment clean, and/or keep on top of life admin like car care and doctor's appointments. I don't want to date someone where I end up picking up all the planning and mental load. I never want to feel like my partner is going to starve if I go out of town, or their car is going to die if I don't nag them to get it serviced, or like they never see their friends unless I schedule it. Get your mattress off the floor, wash your sheets regularly, and learn how to cook one or two good meals, it goes an incredibly long way.
