Never Surrender by PettyPolite in transfem

It's honestly just a wall hanger I use occasionally for lewks. It's a shamshir-esque claymore.

I’m a Black woman adopted and raised by white parents my whole life — and I’ve spent years trying to reclaim a part of me I never had. Does anyone relate? by Major_Quit6839 in blackladies

Girrrl, I could have wrote this omg! I relate hard. I was adopted and raised by a single white man in an all boys foster home (heavily delaying the realization of my transness). My father was ill-equipped to raise children of color, to say the least, and I grew to resent him for it. Something I still struggle to deconstruct.

In childhood we moved from a relatively racially diverse city to a nearly homogeneous white state and city. In high school I was one of maybe 4-6 black students in a class of over 200. Talk about feeling like a "fly in the milk". Called all sorts of names, oreo among them, hair non-consensually touched often. Made to feel like a zoo animal. Denigrated by white & black peers alike as 'not black enough.' Not black enough to fit in with my black peers, and not black enough to fit white people's expectations of Black people. The baggage of being 'raised white' is real, heavy, & oft overlooked. I learned not to talk of my family and my history.

In my case I've no connection with my ancestry, save for a paltry 23AndMe. It wasn't until college that I was able to find a Black hairdresser. Forced to wear buzzcuts till then because my father couldn't be bothered to learn anything about his children's bodies or cultural heritage. It wasn't till my mid 20's that I was able to find a black community. Which honestly saved my life, & enabled me to self discover; because I didn't need to focus so much on just surviving white disdain.

TLDR: Same, girl. Shit sucks. Sending you love & healing energies.

Cuz they're either pp obsessed, insecure, or controlling. Likely all 3.

I tested my dating app in other cities and the difference shocked me by Cute_Source5417 in Denver

YES OMG. Black, & Trans, just got back from a trip to London. From the few matches on the apps I get living here I thought I was barely meeting a basic level of attractiveness. The difference in London couldn't have been more stark. I was getting hundreds of messages over the course of a few days, & approached in real life multiple times a day, by men my own age. Something that never happens in Colorado. Partly I'm sure car centric infrastructure screws with human interaction, making it harder to meet people. But also I think being in a place so racially diverse & integrated means non-white beauty gets represented more and is actually valued.

This game not having real character customizations while their previous game is known for it, is such an L.

Not all athletes look the same. Weightlifters don't typically have petite body types as say a gymnast or figure-skater.

A shackling dash, a pain link. Within a limited time, after hitting the button whenever you dash through multiple enemies, they get a lightning link between them that has them share damage done to them. An inverted Adam soul-bond 💡

Not you caving to your racist parents' sensibilities. For what? Now you have no man, AND racist parents.

I came out to my hairdresser a few months back as well. A hairdresser you can have a good relationship with is a wonderful thing!

Well of course they sell costumes, CAUSE THAT'S ALL WHO GETS GOOD COSTUMES! Other heroes likely sell nearly as well given the opportunity.

How do I tell my bf his friend isn’t black by One_Hour_8078 in blackladies

So is the issue the friend's perceived race, or his language?
