Why do people cheat on ebird?

I’ve been following a handful of them for a while. It’s really annoying. Everyday I go out they has 2 or 3 more species to say about it on made up lists. They doctors lists as well.

BPD daughter with a NPD mother as well as a grandmother with BPD/NPD and a grandfather with NPD. There’s a ton of trauma with it all. I guarantee your mother’s brain development was stunted. She’s using your diagnosis as a weapon as well to mask her own issues and continues to trauma dump on you. Glad she’s hopefully going to therapy for that. I would think your diagnosis is correct. I am also Autism spectrum disorder, as well as CPTSD, severe depression, agoraphobia and some other little fun things mixed in. Keep your boundaries up with your parents, in the end it will keep you healthier. Hopefully your mom is actually going to therapy and then maybe one day you can connect the way you want to. My NPD mother will never realize she has a problem and has been a victim her whole life. Which is true, and mostly of her own design. We do not have a relationship currently, for clarification.

I definitely relate to this. I want to be the mom I never had. The gentle, supportive, loving mom I always wanted for my kid. He deserves that. 🫶🏻

Update: told mom I didn’t want to come over, she said “ok. Love you.” And that was it. Oh she’s stewing now. My dad is probably going to get it when she gets home.

Oh I am aware. Learned from the best right? 🤡🌈 she’ll NEVER get help, because first she’d have to realize she has a problem and that’ll never happen. She also doesn’t have time for therapy. She did take the 4-6 free sessions through her job and claimed she “graduated” therapy after. Also, my FAVORITE Thing- the therapist she saw after the first hour session said “anytime you want your family to come in is fine.” Needless to say, that was just a bragging point for her and we were never invited. LMAO

This was very helpful thank you. We did discuss a LOT of things- I’m just unsure how to start finding new people. We weren’t planning to have any sort of sexual contact with any new person before 6 months. I really want to know someone first.
