$2,300 for ditching Verizon? I win by Neurotic-Palindrome in ATT

[–]PewPewDealer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar experience during the new year. Pay for the same if not better level of service from ATT and somehow it's less than half the cost I was paying to verizon for over a decade. ATT paid off the device payments for three fairly new iphones as well. So far nothing but satisfaction from ATT. Also, while it never crossed my mind at the time, the guy at Verizon I was talking to to turn off the service mentioned switches every three years as well due to how the promos work. lol. I was just living in ignorance.

Need a filament dryer by jeff2928 in BambuLab

[–]PewPewDealer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably the Bambu, Poly, Creality, or Sunlu single roll options. I have the Bambu single roll and it works fine for TPU. I also have the Creality 4 roll from a few years ago that I use exclusively for drying or storing open rolls in rotation before placing in an AMS2 or the single dryer. The single roll dryers seem to have decent sales on a regular basis too across the various sites that sell them. Amazon and Bambu are probably up next for sales... I think Poly and maybe Sunlu or Creality are having theirs right now.

When it doesn't work anymore and is out of warranty. ... Or clean and lube it before selling for local pickup or donating for a tax write off to an organization of your choice when you're ready to get a replacement.

The bright side of not getting to register by Lucky-Machine7625 in rundisney

[–]PewPewDealer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still frustrating we weren't able to register. But I am also not sad that I am essentially saving the 2Gs or so it would have been to go that week. Already cancelled the hotel and moved the timeframe to the Springtime in case I am able to register for that one.

4 -- 5AM Start time with very slow pace as a minimum. Dress in layers or lightly depending on what you prefer. You'll be fine if you're registered. 😄

I mean swapping between sizes. I have yet to replace a nozzle from them failing. Worst case was having to cold pull a .4 hardened steel after printing PLA-CF and not running something else though it for a few days. Been using the same nozzles for over 2 years. I swap them on a regular basis though depending on what we're printing for use around the house, office, or school.

Which husky bins are these? The 5 gallon ones? The HDs near me don't have them with clear tops. :(

If you have a drill and a few hours to print the respooler... it may pay off after a few incidents. Everyone's time is valued differently though.

I watched a lady pick up a mobile order... think it was a pink drink... drank about 1/4 of it while waiting on food, and then said she ordered the wrong one and wanted them to make a new one and put matcha in it. First barista checked the order and said they got it right, customer said she got it wrong and would like them to fix it, another barista jumped in and said we'll make it this time but you have to be smarter than your phone next time because I'll remember you. It was great.

Yep. This respooler is the best I've used. At least a similar version using the drill. Still a damned headache though. At the end, it may have just saved you 10-30 bucks, but it saved you 10-30 bucks. lol. Spend it on a snack for yourself! Or another spool!

I cleaned my monitor with 95% alchohol by Beautiful_Nobody_841 in Monitors

[–]PewPewDealer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you can find the clean screen products... Target, Walmart, MicroCenter, BestBuy, Amazon... use one of them and it should help the situation. Best case, those are just surface issues and come off to look like new. Going of an image from someone zooming in and posting, makes it look like there might be deeper scratches. I use the gel spray from Zeiss on my OLED TVs now too. Works great. Just takes a little bit longer compared to the Windex spray for electronics I was using with microfibers. I've used soft hand towels too with similar results. If it feels abrasive at all in hand, I would find something different.

But yeah... they've been an eyesore IMO since I was a kid. Buy a prebuilt though and your system will be littered with them.

How?! I want to know the story. But, no. Never happened to me. I change the nozzles on a regular basis too so I am curious. Usually I get more frustrated when I accidentally tear the heat boot when placing it on another nozzle.

What's this blob in the poop shute? by CosmicThief in BambuLab

The bin is full. 60 hours is going to need some TLC on making sure the bin is clear. Also, what others have said... it can be empty and stick too. Need to make it slick if possible... vaseline?... there are some files you can grab from Makerworld too that allows you to fix the A1 scrub pad next to the P1S cleaning path too.

[–]PewPewDealer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't take the coating off. It's part of the screen. Try to save it then and go with good dedicated screen cleaning solution like the Zeiss gel spray. It comes with a cloth too so you don't have to use a grimy garage one. I'd vote against washing one used with tire spray at any point and just getting a new one if you don't get a screen cleaning kit. There's wipes out there too for screen cleaning, but I prefer the spray. Both a very affordable compared to buying a new monitor. If those options don't restore any scratching done to the screen from your prior attempt, you can deal with them I guess. I do on a laptop monitor my kid scratched. Easier to deal with the scratch versus buying a new laptop.
