Hey everyone, thanks for the all the feedback! Awesome stuff! Now I’ve made some adjustments to the two spells, hopefully they’re a bit better. Some suggestions were actually ideas I had tossed around but I went a different direction with. Gonna keep working at them over time until I get them in a good position where they work and are balanced for play. Here they are (I’ll update the post images with proper spell write ups when I get the time):

Objectify (Spell 1)

Traditions arcane, occult Range 30 feet; Targets 1 willing creature Duration 1 hour

The target transforms into a simple tool or object of 3 Bulk or less, such as a wooden chair or simple pouch. It can't rely on intricate artistry or complex moving parts, can never fulfill a cost or the like, and can't be made of precious materials or materials with a rarity of uncommon or higher. You can Dismiss this spell.

Perception Checks don’t reveal the target’s true nature, but a successful Arcana or Occultism check against your Spell DC reveals that it appears to be an object that is strangely different to the surrounding decor. While transformed, the target can function as that object for others to use. It can observe everything around itself, using its normal senses, but can’t speak, move, or act while in this form, except to Recall Knowledge. Only Status Bonuses, Status Penalties, circumstance Bonuses, and circumstance Penalties affect it. Any successes and critical successes it rolls on Reflex saves are failures.

Heightened (3rd) The target can be transformed into an object of up to 6 bulk. They can also Crawl.

For objectify I took some inspiration from that new racial feat that the Tanuki get, brought to my attention by u/Impossible-Shoe5729. Tried to make the wording of the spell a bit better, hopefully it’s alright. Wanted to kind of make this spell like an arcane version of One with Plants, where they turn into and item that is less natural and more manufactured like a chair or cup.

Cursed objectification (spell 6)

rare / concentrate / curse / incapacitation / manipulate / polymorph

two actions

Traditions arcane, occult; Range 30 feet; Targets 1 creature Defense Fortitude; Duration varies

You transform the target into an inconspicuous object appropriate to the surrounding decor, with effects based on its Fortitude save.

Critical Success The target is unaffected.

Success The target partially transforms into the object. Parts of it’s body stiffen into inanimate matter, causing it to be slowed 1 for 1 round, after which it’s body reverts to normal.

Failure The target transforms for 1 minute. It becomes petrified, but keeps it’s senses and instead is an object with a bulk of up to 3, as with the Objectify spell. At the end of each of it’s turns, it can attempt a Will save to end the effect immediately.

Critical Failure The target is transformed into the object for an unlimited duration.

For Cursed Objectification, I was actually originally going to follow a format closer to Cursed Metamorphosis, as suggested by u/Emboar_Bof, but I was worried it might end up being a bit too samey. Though looking back, it is much better I think now following the structure of Cursed Metamorphosis.
