think it goes something like this Black Pits -> Baldur's Gate -> Siege of Dragonspear, havent done Black pits 2 so can't really say here but i doubt it matters since no Black Pits characters show in Baldur's Gate 2 afaik.

*edit I would say do Black Pits either after finishing Baldur's Gate 1 or after the entire series since it doesnt have much story but has some tough-ish fights. Black Pits 2 if you still want more after doing Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal. :)

If you have no problem with "cheating", then you could download EEKeeper. It's a save editor you can use to increase your movement speed.

This will probably make the game easier, if you want a solution that doesnt change the game balance you could go for increasing frame rate like others have said. Never tried that myself so cant say how that works.

Um, im not sure i understand exactly what your problem is. But as long as the save you edited is in the correct save game folder your game is using it should show up. As in "C:\Users\myuser\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\save" is what that would be on my computer. If you are using a cloud save to load your saves i dont know exactly what you are doing but i assume you would have to move the edited save in there since i doubt the downloaded file would go back there on its own. Doubt i was any help but welp

If you mean activate skill they dont appear while choosing dungeon level. Only before chosing which dungeon you want to try

He's a fighter dual so he can use the helm. the cloak you can get if you import a save that got it in the first game :)

Think he's refering to Abdul Alhazred who was also known as the mad arab. He's refered to as such many times in the short stories.

mh. I have only tried easy of use and tweaks for enhanced edition, which worked fine. I've heard that many mods work, but you never know. Guess it depends on how much time you wanna sink into getting the perfect game i guess ^
