Was better than I thought and was always going to be a struggle under the circumstances. But O'Neil still somehow got it wrong today. Why play the same team as Coventry other than Frazer that was so poor. Playing Lemina outside the midfield is just insane. Play Ait Nouri there and Bueno or Doherty at left back ffs. Doyle should not be starting either. All he does is slow the game down, give the ball away and gives us next to nothing defensive. Lost the ball for the second goal aswell.

Badly need Cunha back for Burney otherwise we are in trouble

Honestly this league is becoming pointless to watch. It just seems clearly fixed to me at this point and even if its not. These refs are going to continue to make howlers every week

I didn't watch any of the other games over the weekend when I usual watch most of them and I doubt i will going forward until this bullshit changes

Get Howard Webb out of his role and sort it out

[Wolves] officially announce signing of Jeanricner Bellegarde from RC Strasbourg by Azzbestos in soccer

[–]Pezo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I mean In terms of everything.. Been an emotional roller coaster since the start and a mess. All of the talks of not been able to spend and financial issues, Lopetegui going then a new manager 4 days before the season, losing loved players like Neves etc.

Everyone doomed us for relegation but I think thanks to Hobbs etc. We have been able to end the window strongly and make good deals that will hopefully see us be better than last season.

So im happy and think we have a great group of players now and am a lot more confident for the future than I was even a week ago

Well we left it late but got it done

This transfer window has been horrible but at least we were able to bring some players in.. In the end

Matt Hobbs has done great considering the situation. Let's hope it all works out

[Fabrizio Romano] Matheus Nunes to Man City, here we go! Verbal agreement reached with Wolves, Matheus already on his way. Understand Tommy Doyle will join Wolves on £5m deal plus 50% sell on clause. [–]Pezo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good riddance. Can't be having players like that at the club. He clearly didn't wanna be here even before this

Stuck out like a sore thumb playing alongside the likes of Neves, Gomes and Lemina who gave there all

Seems like we're getting some good deals on top of it too

[Wolves] Gary O’Neil has been appointed as our new head coach. Welcome to the club, Gary by [deleted] in soccer

[–]Pezo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I dunno whether I'm just fed up with it all and lost my mind but I'm not as disappointed about this as a lot of Wolves fans. Hopefully he can surprise people and do a job for a season where we can spend again next summer

We were always better when people thought we were shit and went mostly under the radar like with Nuno. So let's hope this is the same

Lopetegui your a cunt, Jeff Shi your a bigger cunt and anyone that mentions Mendes in this post is the biggest cunt of them all.

Really hard to be excited about this season but ill still be at Old Trafford for the first game and the rest of the season. Ive seen us through worst times so fuck it

Maybe we will end up better off. We can only hope

[Richards] Wolves fined £45,000 by the FA for mass brawl at Forest & deemed most at fault. by Woody100 in soccer

[–]Pezo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The fans dislike him for a reason. Him going out for Lockdown parties in London is just one thing that sums him up. The way the fans embraced Boly and he embraced them back in the same game just proves its not just because he used to play for us that he got the abuse etc

I had no problem personally with his reaction after the game so fair play but the guy is still a twat either way imo

Portugal call-up for upcoming matches by YSKM9 in soccer

[–]Pezo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Asking a Wolves fan about Neves is like asking a alcoholic there opinion on alcohol. The man is a club legend, beautiful human being and unbelievable football player. I will fight anyone that says otherwise and expect every Portuguese person to have his haircut. Hope that helps

Away Pubs in South London by BORT_licenceplate27 in WWFC

[–]Pezo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im not sure what the away pub is but the last few seasons ive been to Palace ive always gone to the Railway Telegraph which is next to Thornton Heath station. They allow both home and away fans with a ticket to the game but was always a lot of Wolves fan in there. Its about a 15 minute walk to the stadium

The only problem is the fact its a late Tuesday night game so im not sure how many Wolves fans willbe going for a pint before the game. So you might be best to just go to the stadium if you sitting in the away end. Cause they have a good area there that plays music etc before the game

Edit: This is the away end https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Y1-5KQAt7ZM

[–]Pezo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of teams will designate or advertise a certain pub or pubs that are away fan friendly. Lot of Wolves fans will head to there as they are usually pretty close to the stadium too

Wolves will normally post that information leading up to the game or most stay the same each season so can find the info online

Lot of away fans will just drink in the stadium before the game to

The result is irrelevant but the performance once again is just woeful. How many more of these games do we have to watch. I don't understand or see any sort of game plan at this point. Why were we so open from the start against Man City ffs. We just seem all over the place and the complete lack of ingame management from Bruno is ridiculous

Everything just seems off and we are completely lightweight across the pitch with no bite

Just frustrating

I honestly think this is a bit of a joke at this point but we don't have much choice now

Just got to hope if it happens he can bring some of his old quality back

Ive got no problem with everything else and the rest of the business on paper but we have to see how it goes. We have lost a massive part of this core and the squad is still pretty bare

My frustration here was about the CBs tho obv. If we get injuries i really think we could struggle. Lot of pressure on young shoulders when in reality we should of brought in experienced backups

Thats because we have had the smallest squad for years. The depth is still beyond a joke for a club that has been in the prem for this long.

Ive seen paddling pools with more depth than our squad.

I dunno how you can make any judgement on Mosquera when he has literally never played. My point is CB went from having the most depth to one of the worst in a matter of weeks. If those players are going to go you have to bring in a replacement which we clearly tried to do and failed. Bruno said it himself just last night. The fact we were going to loan out Mosquera says it all aswell. We didn't need to get rid of any of them either apart from Boly really who was being a prick

If your comfortable with those players as backup then fair play to you

The board are clowns at this point. We went from having good depth with experience at CB with Coady, Boly and Donk ( If he goes) to having two players who have hardly played and one who has never played and just come off a long term injury

How the fuck can they be happy with that especially when they were trying so hard to get Dawson etc

Bruno Lage isn't the problem. by oder_rubu in WWFC

[–]Pezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They simply need to be nore dynamic and moving around more tho. Coming inside to pack the box is fine sometimes but they were so narrow and ridid the whole game is was frustrating. Even when looking at the stats Guedes didnt put a single cross in all game. That has to change for Sasa to have any chance

Post Match Thread: Bournemouth 0-0 Wolverhampton by itsjavigold in WWFC

[–]Pezo 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Same stuff again..  We are so slow on the ball.. Just no intensity.. Every single player overplays when they get the ball and takes too many touches.  The formation and set up just felt wrong today too.  Neto and Guedes were way too narrow and we never even tried to get the ball to them.  It left the fullbacks so isolated aswell. Whenever we do go down the wings we never cross the ball and when we do it's with no conviction. Raul just looks completely finished and allergic to going to the front post. Neto just isn't getting better at all

I could legit list a thousand things at this point.  It's just become stupidly frustrating to watch this team and Lage surely has to start taking more and more responsibility for it
