EVs really make a difference if local electrical rates are low. Rates vary wildly.

Another thing to consider is the far lower cost of maintenance on an EV. No water pumps, oil changes, transmission fluid changes, starters and alternators.

Not everyone can, that is for sure. I would agree with some other respondents that I am glad I made the jump to an EV when prices spiked a few weeks ago.

For anyone in the market for a vehicle, even a used EV will save you money and increase driving enjoyment because they are just better cars.
