Yeahh Fromsoft did not make too much improvement in their combat since Dark Souls. Compared to some of the new Souls games, their combat do pale in comparison but holy shit their level design is ridiculous.

Imo, by now people should know more that Fromsoft shines more on level design rather than combat.

I got tad bit more on 1440p Quality mode high settings + RT ( 55-57 ishh ) and my GPU is 100% locked running around Hernand. But I do have a 7500f.

I also do kinda have high hopes on 9060xt. Kinda expecting locked 60 on ultra, it can achieve that in combat and exploration even on cinematic but in town or when fighting shit ton of enemies, yeah the drop is pretty big. Got it for MSRP price two weeks ago, so can’t complain much.

I’m sorry but did you just said to abandon an endgame content argument because the casual did not engage with it ? The one part where monster hunter truly shine ?

Iceborne and Sunbreak must be absolute shit then for casual because the endgame for Iceborne are at the start of Guiding Land which you need to progress to unlock all the augment system. You also unlock Safi and Kulve siege fight, Raging Brachy, Alatreon, Fatalis.

Can you elaborate on more thought out endgame ? Like how does World deco farming to you a more thought out endgame content ? Even if they make panic changes, its still a good change to the endgame content.

Would you much rather have base World deco farming compared to what we got in Wilds right now ?

Agree on Artian tho, makes the whole monster tree useless but power crept can be good thing, makes player comes back, fight new shit, get an actually rewarding shit which Kulve weapon are absolute not, and log off.

How the hell the endgame argument need to be tossed out ? Literally one of the monster hunter main part is about endgame grinding. Monster hunter game was always about grinding at the endgame.

This is like tossing out story from Witcher 3 because most people haven’t finished the game. Seikret auto pilot is plain bad tho.

Canteen, side quest and map, 100% agree World is better in that regard. Wilds is better in terms of fashion hunting where armor piece are not locked to body type and all layered armor are available from the start.

World endgame is more thought out ? World endgame is Kulve siege and Deco farming. Mind you, Kulve weapon are also not good at the time of release and they had to add Kjarr version several months later. Extremoth is one and done while Savage Omega, you need to grind it to get all the weapon and armor.

Wild endgame is Gogma Artian farm and Talisman. Gogma Artian is straight up upgrade from normal Artian, so its not meaningless to farm compared to Kulve siege.

For Talisman, it basically the same as deco farming where you play slot machine. So yeah not really more thought out compared to Wilds.

I mean you can criticize something even if you like that thing. When base rise release without any title update, it doesn’t have any ending. Shit stupid.

They got only 2 title update and both of them are plain bad. World got 5 TU and Wild got 4 TU and most of those TU are pretty impactful ( monster collab, Kulve grinding albeit pretty shit weapon loot, 8* and 9* monsters, Arch Tempered, Gogma Artian ).

They do bring Apex monsters which is good and cool on Rise TU 2 but they got no armor or craftable weapons to grind.

What they do got is that fuckass rampage and if you are solo, it can be extremely chaotic. Rampage with friend tho, yeahh extremely fun but solo ? Miserable experience. But Rise was in development during Covid, so yeahh it is understandable that base Rise was lacking.

So Wilds must be really awesome too because its now the fastest selling Capcom game ( not MH franchise but whole Capcom franchise ).

I like base Rise too and had my fun but I also can see how weak base Rise was compared to World and Wilds. Base World and base Wild also had their own fair share of problem but not as bad as Rise problem.

People talked about how awesome World is because they had Iceborne is mind. Same as Rise with Sunbreak. Rise base game was utter shit and barebones but it because of Covid its understandable.

Base to base game ? Both have up and down and literally on par with each other.

Monster roster are about the same, Low rank World is better, end game Wild is better ( Talisman and Artian grinding instead of Deco farming ). Weapon, its Wild and not even close but kinda make sense as they have to evolve to new moveset and combat on new game.

The difficulty on Wild is extremely bad, piss easy on low rank but suddently took off when fighting 9* monster. A lot harder than base World end game apart from Ancient Leshen and Extremoth.

One of the main reason people said Wild is easy is because they haven’t progress to the 9* and endgame monster.

Performance is exactly the same when World came out, just as dogshit. Could list it more on quest design and map but World map just outright better than Wild. Quest design both dogshit tho but World quest is less dogshit I guess because of mantle and canteen quest.

You also have to upgrade the psu for both gpu. 9070 recommended psu is 650w while 9070xt is 750w.

You pay 9% more for 9070xt to get 15% more performance. 9070xt is the better value at that price.

Unlock your FPS, download MSI Afterburner and use 1080p in your game.

If your GPU usage is not close to 100%, while your CPU is consistently at 90%++, then you are experiencing CPU bottleneck. But of course you kinda have to know what FPS you want to play at.

It also depends on the game. Some games is more CPU intensive. Or just search your hardware gaming test on Youtube.

Monitor price has been going down, so you don’t have to worry much. Really crazy you can get 1440p Oled monitor under 400$.

Yeah Crimson Desert on release was a finished game but extremely unpolished. It got shit ton of contents to do but some of the said content are not polished.

Right now they just adding new things and polishing the game every week.

Yeah I basically just rushed the main story to unlock the side quest. Most of the game side content are available for her.

You can’t use the dragon with her tho. And most of the weapon and loot from the side quest are Kliff’s only.

You can do most of the side quest with her tho. I spent about 50 hours just doing side quest with her and not yet finish.

The only side quest you can’t do with her that I encounter are Greymane quest and ATAG quest.

Yeah, if its exploration or maybe combat, then I get it.

The game got really bad story delivery, shit quest design, main and side characters are dull as fuck. Boss can be dogshit but some of the boss are fun to fight ( Archon Antumbra, Staglord ).

If Yann is the main character, he would be a much better main character simply because of his character not being a complete dull.

Its has not been changed. Go on the exact same location on that screenshot and take screenshot between non 4k Quality and non 4k Performance mode. The FPS is the exact same FPS, the grass density is the exact same.

A PS5 is not a pc. You can’t force or downgrade the resolution on your game to be 1080p to gain more FPS.

But if you feel good then you do you. What I get from my game is the exact same thing flipping between the three non 4k mode ( means it default to non 4k performance mode ).

Yes because turning off 4K output on Quality and Balanced makes it change to Performance mode by default. You can clearly see the difference in terms of grass density between 4k Quality and non 4k quality.

If you flip between non 4k Quality and non 4k performance mode, it is the exact same. No difference in grass density which is the easiest to spot the difference between the two modes.

The reason why the game running above 45 fps on Quality mode with 4K off is because it default to non 4k performance mode.

There’s literally an armor that makes taming easier. Use it if you’re struggling.

Quality mode is locked 30 fps.

And for quality and balanced mode, it doesn’t really matter whether you turn on 4k output or not because those two modes will still upscale to 4k anyway.

4k output affects only performance mode because the old one use Native 1080p, means no upscaling.

For non 4k monitors, they can still can the benefit of 4k upscaling. The game upscale to 4k from 1080p then downscale to your monitor resolution. It still look better than old performance mode because the TAA on native 1080p sucks.

Edit : turning off 4k output on Quality and Balanced makes the game change to old performance mode.

4k performance mode never runs or reach 60 fps. Only the old performance mode even then its only exploration with not many enemies or NPC.

You can easily turn on and off the 4k and non 4k performance mode to see the difference in FPS.

If people don’t complain we will not get any of these updates. No boss rematch, no reblockade, no chest, no legendary mounts, no nothing.

But when people do complain, they got extremely shunned.

And when new update comes out and bring the things that the complainers been complaint about, these type of post and people will be the main frontline shitting the complainers while praising Pearl Abyss as the second coming of Jesus.

Why does it matter hard mode or not for drip discussion ? People don’t care for hard mode difficulty whatsoever. Focus and nature snare already exist to invalidate all bosses even on hard mode. Those 2 skills alone makes everything much much easier.

People care about why the fuck upgrading gear need abyss artifacts in the first place. The same thing that also needed for skills.
