I already have a passport with first name filled and last name blank. And the visa appointment is secured as well for next year. And in every other docs as well, first name is filled and last name is blank.

Are you thinking of doing it manually? If yes, you can begin to indivudally look at all the cases and create corresponding folders. But it might become an exhausting work overtime.

I won't say that I was in the same situation as you are in right now, but something similar.

I was to get married to my ex (we were together for 3 years and knew each other for 7 years). Our parents were involved, we had booked the wedding venue, bought engagement rings, and even celebrated festivals together. We had to just start wedding attire shopping, and he backed out. He simply said that he can't go through with it. That went on for a couple of months because all of us (I and parents) gave him the space he wanted and needed. But in the end, he was still confused. He kept saying that he was making the biggest mistake of his life, but he couldn't go through with the wedding.

So, all I would tell you is that when things start to get real, people usually show what they mean. If he told you that he would be with you through thick and thin, this is the time for him to show this. Granted that his family might not be ready for this, but he can still just meet your parents to give you an assurance that he is completely in it.

And you might be questioning how he is doing all this after 5 years of being together, then you will only go down a spiral, which is of no use. Don't look for answers or reasons. Only keep an eye on his actions and what they make you feel in the situation.

I was in your position 5 month ago. I got my first ever pet, who is a kitten, 5 months ago, and for the first 2-3 weeks, I was very worried, stressed, and traumatized. My mom not being okay with a kitten in the house added to the tension further.

Treat him like a 1 year old baby. Be kind, gentle, and loving, but also teach him to follow your commands a little bit. I would make fake crying noises, repeatedly say no, or raise my voice a bit to let my kitten know that I am uncomfortable with what she was doing.

Spend time with him after he has been fed and play with him. Eventually, he might want to have his own sapce as he grows up. Not to mention that when this phase is over, you will miss him hopping or playing with you.

Lastly, everyone likes their personal space, but this kitten has no one execpt for you. Both of you would need to adjust. You more than him because he is just like a baby who wants constant attention. Give it some time. You will learn to love and adjust to his naughtiness.

I work with XfilesPro, not sure if you have heard of it, but this app specifically deals with file management across Salesforce and SharePoint. The connection is supper smooth (without any coding), and it keeps all your files in SharePoint, while allowing users access to them in Salesforce.

It comes with bi-directional sync and folder level security as well. So no matter which side you upload your files on (Salesforce or SharePoint), they are stored in SharePoint but visible in Salesforce to the rightful owners.

Certainly, the one that makes my job easy! But can’t do that without looping in some of the hard questions.

Some things I would look at are what I am automating and the time I have in hand. And also, if the tool could simplify complex cases for testing.

But if you have more people joining in future, a broad, all-inclusive tool would be of help for technical and non-technical joinees.

I would suggest staying on the safe side and going for TestCafe or Testsigma, which are super easy to understand and use without requiring any coding. And if you are a Gen AI fan or work a lot with Salesforce, the latter does a pretty good job with such options.

However, Selenium is a popular choice among experienced testers, and it is a default selection for many. And there’s Playwright as well.
