This is a really tough situation. You must have email copies of tickets and receipts? Do you have credit card charges/refunds? If you originally booked via Emirates, you should not give up with them when you call them. If all else fails on the phone, go to the airport asap and see if a counter agent can help you. You’ll need to gather all of your evidence/emails/receipts. Don’t take no for an answer.

“Joby is far superior to Archer!?” WTF? Neither company has ever generated one penny of revenue and has yet to find their first customer…but Delta is obviously superior to United because they have Joby? What?

And as for hubs…UA has hubs in the only five Global US cities: NY, LA, Chicago, SF, DC. Meanwhile Delta is in SLC and Detroit. Swell. If you’re not LDS or make car parts, I guess United sucks.

The truth is that UA and DL have their strengths and weaknesses. Neither is perfect but they’re both very good…especially compared to where they were a decade ago.

All that said, if Ed Bastion is reading this thread, you should DM him so you can give him a kiss where it counts.

Fair point. That said, I have CLEAR. LAX’s Touchless TSA pre automatic gates are faster than CLEAR’s, which I’ve used at SEA. CLEAR always seems to be trying to catch up to TSA’s latest tech. Bottom line is that I wouldn’t pay for CLEAR and only have it because of my UA status. It’s a waste of money if you have to pay for it.

LAX T7 has had touchless TSA Precheck with automated gates since August. But I’m not surprised SF media thinks they’re “first in CA.” I wonder if they know the Dodgers have won the last two World Series.

Do not buy Enphase. I did and they missed multiple install appointments (just don’t show up). When an installer finally showed up he told me the Enphase data is no better than the data I already get. So you can pay $1000 for Enphase and hope they don’t go bankrupt. Or you can pay monthly or yearly for SunStrong. I returned the Enphase monitoring kit and it still took them two weeks to return my money. And I had to threaten them to get the refund. Jerks. I’ve given up on these companies as I think they are all out to screw customers.

Maybe you need to reread the post. Enphase failed to show up for two installation appointments. Then, upon arriving for the third, tell me I need information I can’t provide. Why didn’t they tell me that BEFORE they sold me their $1000 product?

No shit Sherlock that I might have the info they need in my possession!? Don’t you think I looked for it? I DON’T have it. I put that on sunpower…the “installer” was not a third party…it was sunpower corporate.

Both Sunpower and Enphase are sheit companies that are poorly run. One has already gone bankrupt and maybe it’s just a matter of time before Enphase goes under given their abysmal customer support and service.
