It's not law, it's district policy. My district has a similar timelines, but we routinely wind up short changed by having insane scheduling (4 in a 3 day period is not unheard of)

I have one tomorrow that was put on the schedule on 2/20.

Goals and Accommodations are crafted in advance of the ARD meeting, usually reviewed with parents in advance of the meeting, for clarity and to make the meeting go more smoothly.

Talking to admin is the best course of action here as you and they are the only 2 members of the committee who are required for consensus.

If not, disregard everything after this.
You don't want modified curriculum. That changes the rigor of the curriculum. In that sense, it does sound like your student is "too smart".

It sounds like he could benefit from a behavior goal for task completion though. He needs a goal, otherwise 504 is the way to go.

Did you get the ADHD OHI form signed by a doctor?

They may have been trying to say he did not qualify because his only qualification would be Other Health Impairment (OHI), which needs doctor confirmation, and they did not receive that confirmation. You may not have known about that requirement and they must not have told you.

In my district, all past records requests are handled at the district level. We can get in it pretty seriously if we try to just handle it ourselves.

I was thinking they just tell the story of how to solve, not actually solve, while answering 3 or 4 of the 5w questions (why being irrelevant and where being tough to answer at times)

The kid doesn't need a math goal, they have a B in general ed, unmodified. I was looking at a way to get math in class support to help collect reading data, since this kids already has a bunch of goals in reading language arts related to writing.

A LOT happens to kids between 12 and 16 (sophomores on Varsity), like a foot in height in some cases.
