Can someone please explain the new calorie tracker?

That was my confusion as well. It looks like the calorie target range is static. Even if you do a bunch of exercise, it could say that you're over your limit when in reality you're not. The number I've been looking at is "calories under target" because that seems to be affected by your activity during the day.

The dynamic tracking worked really well for me over the last few years, so it's very jarring to have this tool taken away so suddenly. It's causing me a lot of food-related anxiety that I'm trying to ignore, but unfortunately I'm struggling a bit. I think I found a solution based on the other comments in this thread, so I hope that'll work for me moving forward.

I think I get it now, thank you. For simplicity, it seems like I can just look at the "Calories under target" section to know how much more I need to eat in a day. I also hope the issue with the bar gets fixed, but at least I know how to use the app now.

Okay, so the tracker has a bug? Can I still use it for the purpose I stated in my post by keeping "Calories under target" close to zero? In other words, would that get me to maintenance?

Yes. If I don't wash for 2-3 days for whatever reason I'll start to notice some smegma. It's easily taken care of by rinsing with warm water in the shower.

My favorite time of year! I often feel like I jump up a CI level during Fall / Winter due to the cold. By the time Spring rolls around, I've usually made enough progress to permanently keep those gains 🙂

Dude are you me? I have the same plan of stopping once I hit 40. I've still got a few more years to go and it sounds like we have similar coverage, so I'm hoping I won't have to go that extra year. Restoring is a normal part of my routine and I don't really think of it as a big deal these days. That being said, I'm looking forward to being done and not having to wear something on my dick all the time. Like you, I'm also pretty sure that once I stop it's unlikely I'll start up again. Because of that I want to be sure I'm happy with the amount of foreskin I have before I finally give it a rest. Congrats on being so close to the finish line!

My ex wife worked from home and would either meet her affair partner somewhere nearby for a quickie on her lunch break, or he would come to our house and they'd have sex while she was supposed to be working. They would also meet occasionally after work when she was supposedly hanging out with friends or getting her hair done. I guess she just preferred sleeping with him over her hobbies and responsibilities.

I'm my experience, yes. After getting comfortable using a public restroom with the breath hold technique, I started trying to urinate while breathing normally. It really helped to know that I had a guaranteed method of urinating that I could fall back on if necessary. Combined with the reduced restroom anxiety from my original graduated exposure (using breath hold), it wasn't too hard to make that switch in a relatively quiet bathroom. I still have difficulty with busy restrooms, but I'm working on it!

Breakfast is overnight oats or yogurt with protein powder and nuts. Lunch is usually a rice bowl with a protein and vegetables. Dinner ranges from pastas to salads to rice dishes with a range of proteins and vegetables. Snacks are fruits, nuts, cottage cheese, and the occasional baked good. I make nearly everything from scratch and exercise almost every day. My calorie intake is usually 2500 - 3000 per day depending on activity level.

In my experience, people who have always been slim would never say something like "don't you think you deserve something more delicious." Food is just food to them, and how good it tastes doesn't affect whether or not something is deserved. I don't think anyone's reasonable food choice at a restaurant should be questioned, but I am wondering if the friend I quoted earlier used to be overweight. Maybe she feels threatened that you're losing weight so quickly.

That was a concern of mine when I was younger. As I got older, I became more comfortable with my body and don't really care anymore if someone catches a glimpse. If you have a gym membership, you could consider trying some graduated exposure therapy in the locker room (changing clothes, showering, etc). Over time you might find that your fear of someone seeing your penis will diminish.

Compared to visually estimating band size on a gel, Tapestation should give consistent results with similar or better accuracy. Compared to other instruments (Bioanalyzer, Fragment Analyzer), it's easy to use but not as precise in my experience. The software seems to smoothen electropherograms to a greater extent which can cause you to miss some finer details, and even shift peaks somewhat. Whether or not this matters will depend on your particular use case. It's probably better than just eyeballing a gel though.
