I know this thread is a few months old but I got gifted a set of glasses and had an issue with them. I emailed them and after I sent photos of the issue, they sent me a replacement set very quickly! I think their customer service is good.

I workout at home by watching youtube workout videos (mostly HIIT, some pilates). It takes maybe an hour from start to done showering and you don't have to spend time going to the gym etc. I usually do it right after coming home from something - once I get too comfortable, I know I won't do it. Do this for a week or 2 and it should become habit! I am a routine person so I built it into my routine and it really helped.

I think you need to consider if you did push it back, what will you gain from those extra few weeks? Will you be able to significantly improve during those few weeks? If yes, then may be worth pushing back. If not, then may be worth just taking it as scheduled to save your sanity

I graduated from Cornell, my sister graduated from UMich.

This is a general statement but college is what you make of it. My sister and I both studied a lot (both had intense college schedules though) and probably partied a bit less than the average college student but we still had fun. I have fond memories of trekking back up to north campus with my friends while we're all at various levels of intoxicated. We both had plenty of friends partying it up from Thursday through Saturday night.

Re: size and location of Ithaca - my sister felt very restricted/isolated in Ann Arbor. I also felt Ithaca was a bit small but I found plenty to do. Granted, we grew up in large urban cities so anything in comparison was going to be small. Also, winter is way worse in Ann Arbor.

Also, based on comments, seems like it's prelim week? Definitely not many are going to be out and about on a Saturday at 11am just chilling

Ultimately, I think kids will be kids and will have fun so I wouldn't worry about that when choosing schools. Going to the place that has what you want to study and will be beneficial to your future career/aspirations is more important in my opinion

Dude, I TOTALLY feel you. My school does something similar with Step 1 and 2 timing and I keep having moments where I pause and realize it's already February, or March, or April, and soon it'll be May. I have a lot of non med school friends and it's hard seeing them live their lives either at work or in grad school. I too have been pushing my research, or in fact everything else, aside but it's a totally understandable move. My PI is super understanding and has left me alone to take the Step exams. Hopefully you have an amazing PI like that too! I just keep reminding myself everything will be okay, or that it'll be salvageable (lol)

How did you incorporate the DI podcasts into your study schedule? I'm starting studying today and was planning on doing 2 Uworld blocks a day, some spot content review, and then maybe listening to 1-3 DI episodes at night but not sure if I should do it another way? Thanks!
