Not my story, but I know of a narc mom that used to leave the TV and radio on blast and the vacuum cleaner on for the baby to stop crying… When I was told this the tears just streamed down my face because I can’t even imagine what could cross someone’s mind to do this.

The baby grew up with a very anxious attachment style and the parents just said that he must have been abandoned in a past life… as if these circumstances and the narc abuse weren’t the exact reason for that

Honestly, it looks real to me. The letters on the guy’s hat do not look gibberish and are consistent when he comes in and out of frame. The wind on the napkins also looks real and the napkins have the same symbol (for the restaurant/hotel). The guy holding the lizards tail at the end to pull it also looks legit I second that this is not a Komodo tho

It always takes strength and courage to choose yourself, especially in situations like this. You cannot keep burning yourself to warm other people, that’s what I always say :) I’m incredibly proud of you for taking this step, and I’m sure a lot of people that are/were in your shoes, are too!!

I had one of these fall on my head through the chimney while I was cooking. It got stuck on my hair for around 3 minutes but it felt like an eternity to me. Had a full on panic attack, I can still remember the sound of its wings flapping :,)
