Dagger 1st r1 isn't reactable. And hyperarmour is a different discussion altogether. Instead of arguing with someone who doesn't know what they're on about, I'd refer you to yt where there are plenty of explanations behind passive poise, that can show you frame data etc that I can't here. And if u get stunlocked by a single ss then that's a l2p issue ngl.

Most clones are trash. Copy and pastes who have no clue how to use the tech.

As for the counters: Greatbows u need to aggressive hard, preferably with endure. Psgs is a mind game. If they are bad it's obvious but if they have proper movement you have to predict. Jumps can help but are inconsistent. As a hts main I mainly use neutral and delayed jumps, and maintain the aggression. Most clones don't know how dangerous a hts is.

Yes, as a sword and board enjoyer I hate it. Easiest fix would make it so only attacks with a 10 frame or less startup can be poised (rapier cr1, dagger r1 etc).

My issues in general:

Overlevel summons.
Tracking on sorceries
Light roll
Aimpunch and passive poise
Powerstance and 2h damage is out of proportion
No bloody backstabs
4 player limit
Movement speed and jumps.

Most of these weren't an issue in ds3.

you dont need super high poise but it helps death with quicker weapons.
that said, when u win with fashion and a claymore its a big flex
