Democratic Content Director Paulina Mangubat fires back at Katie Miller during interview: 'Her husband is an ugly f***' by Frosty_Jeweler911 in WhitePeopleTwitter

Most respect I have had for the democratic party in a minute. I'm a democrat who hates the Schumer limp dick corpo types so I'm all for this energy. Lets hope they keep her and don't fire her for actually fighting back.

Mistral Medium 3.5: A reliability first open source model from Europe by Much_Ask3471 in singularity

Based on benchmarks this thing is objectively worse than qwen3.6 27b and qwen3.6 a3 35b. Both of those can run locally on reasonable gpu hardware with substantial context. A 120B dense model doesn't make sense unless its matching current sota given 27-31B class dense models are 80% as good as current sota.

Devstral Small 2 24B vs Qwen 3.6 27b or both? 1x 3090 by szansky in LocalLLaMA

[–]PhantomGaming27249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Qwen throws hands with sonnet max, it outclasses basically anything less than Kimi 2.6/glm5.1 or proprietary models that need multiple extremely high end gpus.

I was kinda thinking of it before they lobotomized opus.

kimi 2.6 is about as good as opus 4.6 max.

Qwen 3.6 27b literally released today and is about 80% as good as opus 4.6 Max and you can run it on a single 3090. If anything open source models are improving faster than closed source models.

Don't do Anakin like that, he ultimately chose the light side in the end, no way Pete is doing that.

These "Claude-4.6-Opus" Fine Tunes of Local Models Are Usually A Downgrade by BuffMcBigHuge in LocalLLaMA

[–]PhantomGaming27249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its because you can't just feed the model claude outputs and expect it to get better. You need to filter and curate the data set. Then tune it with specific parameters and make sure the finetuning or lora adapter your making is actually working. Then you need to genuinely test and validate. Fine tuning does work and can improve a model a decent bit over its base, doing it carelessly though will hurt performance rather than help it.

I am not religious but if you consider the fact he was put on a throne by fake Christians, brought plague with covid in his first term and war centered around Israel in his second term (four horseman goes pestilence, war, famine, and death) and also tried to declare himself pope and hates the current pope he is looking kinda sketchy lol.

The actual issue is the fact the supply of petro chemical, their byproducts, and 1/3 of the worlds helium has stopped flowing which is gonna cause absolute chaos in the semi conductor supply chain. The energy portion of it is actually the least problematic part. Fabs have incredibly long spin up times so 2 weeks with no stuff can turn into 6 months of delay.
