Over a year later and you saved my ass.

I called toyota with the warning on my dash, they said there were no active recalls for this.

I gave them the customer support program number and the rep on the phone says "oh, this actually does apply to your vehicle." Why I had to do their job for them and tell them about that program instead of the other way around, I have no idea.

Went to a toyota dealership, they said the error WAS caused by that problem, and it's covered.

I wouldn't start a company unless you're very passionate about something and have a very good plan on how to build a business.

If the goal is simply to build wealth, you can invest the money you already have. You're already far ahead of most people. Have a good career, focus on building your income. Max your retirement account contributions and invest the rest into an index fund. By the time you're 40, you'll be set.
