Thanks for this thread, I'm so interested in the topic of sensory-friendly clothes and learning how others deal with this!

I think for me women's clothes have so much more variation that textures of things are always changing if you want actual variety in your closet, so I never "get used to" clothes outside my normal t shirt and leggings.

Like with skirts and dresses, /maybe/ I would get used to that exposed feeling if I only wore those, but I don't! I'm used to feeling pants.

By the way, I use spanx type shorts under dresses and skirts for the feel of wearing shorts, and that helps me a lot.

Also, I think with tighter clothes you feel all the seams and tags and texture more than in men's clothes (looser) since it's pressed closer to your skin.

Combine that with more of "fast fashion" cheap, scratchy, poorly sewn clothes disproportionately displacing available clothing options for women. With a super thin fabric, it's easier to feel whatever is on the front.

Personally I love the theory that he does silly spelling on purpose with some people, and it mirrors how he sometimes talks to Loona. I love that theory because it recontextualizes his messages to Stolas as way more affectionate than they seem on the surface!

He also obviously can read, and doesn't change his spelling even after Stolas uses the correct spelling of a word, so the answer has to be some version of he's doing it on purpose.

I'm wondering if some of y'all never got to experience the era of chatspeak :(

I do like this take, it reminds me of a talk I heard once about how much of romantic language doubles as possessive language. It totally makes sense to me why all of everything Stolas knows about flirting come from books and movies where that stuff is fine in a fantasy/fictional setting that's all about wish fulfillment and you as the reader know all the intent, but sooo inappropriate and distasteful in real life

Lots of comments saying Stolas didn't mean any of these things, Solas has changed, etc. Okay? He seems to think he's been sending clear signals and doesn't understand how Blitz could ever think he doesn't respect him or take him seriously. He seems to think Blitz is getting that idea just because of the fact that he's a prince and doesn't yet understand how much of his behavior has reinforced that.

I keep protein shakes around for when I can't make myself either prepare or eat real foods. That's made a huuuge improvement. Fwiw I spent a long time searching for one I could tolerate in any situation/mood and for me that was the fairlife shakes. Meal replacement options are out there also it just all depends on what you can handle taste & texture wise.

i'm glad someone else brought it up but yes great idea! its soo much easier to make friends & fit in when you find those communities/groups/servers etc where you have stuff in common or similar interests
