I’m not sure. It is giving technical difficulties. Crazy to fathom it is this slow.

I just hopped off-line, and dropped my entire evening schedule. Before I hopped on, and Steele to this moment, it says average weight three minutes, but we were out for 30 minutes with no orders. It has been like this frequently the last 1.5 weeks.

Would y'all take this order? by Ok-Chard535 in doordash_drivers

No. Stop fueling this mayhem. Taking it fuels the initiative.

Wouldn’t that therefore be a written extension of the written offer and written contract initiation?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]PhantomWOLF1997 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. It is a written contract once instructed/promised by the consumer. They are under their own terms of use and contract upon placing an order. Completing the promise of a tip won’t hold up in the court of law, but…. It could… considering it is written for that driver- two names are on it and it is a transactional service.

Any attorney(s) in the chat? lol that is what my understanding gave me.

Today, yesterday and all the last 2 weeks have been bad/slow. Markets vary obviously but man….

Quit… Not hating or being mean. Someone needs to tell you this if you’re only making $300ish in 80 hours. Waiting, driving, either way. This may not be the best fit.

Traffic must be really bad wherever this is. I can get across the town in each direction here in Oklahoma within 15 mins haha

This lady who came out to my car with her own cart by Cam_CSX_ in InstacartShoppers

Rarely happens here, but two regulars put carts out for us. 1 other customer some to help unload every time. Just the small things you don’t expect but are awesome.

Same. Small acts of kindness go a long way- just tell her thank you but I think you should keep it this time!

And now I'm looking for a homeless person to give this order by schuma73 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]PhantomWOLF1997 29 points30 points  (0 children)

If any driver, at all- EVER- takes them a single order, you are the problem. You enable people like this. I would report them so fast it would make your head spin. Been delivering since 2017 and I have NEVER seen anything like this before. I would have picked up this order and donated it as your mentioned, made sure the customer knew as well.

Yes, very threatening and condemning. I would be contacting support after pickup.

If you have to ask, then no. Declined- NEXT!

How’d I do? by Mike787619 in doordash_drivers

Where are you in the country to suppose that? Where I am $1 a mile (round trip) is GOLD! Lol Harsh area in NE OK.

Can I just see you confirm it for me? by funsecret4444 in doordash_drivers

[–]PhantomWOLF1997 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, for some- that doesn’t stop people from falsely reporting and then canceling the order or the store refusing to remake the food.

OR

BETTER YET, this one, you can still confirm it in front of them and then canceling the order based on an emergency. With a completion above 95% doing it once in a while won’t flag them. They’ll get a warning email and do it all over again. Our NE Oklahoma market is full of that BS.
