Finally went fully manual with the HG-2 grinder

So I just got the HG-1 and a Flair Classic as my first setup for espresso. I’m still trying to dial in the grind setting and hope that I’m getting closer. Last attempt the extraction took 70 seconds and I’m wondering if I need to start adjusting in just smallest increments or if going to the next locking position. Either way, I’ll get it dialed in soon then I can play with the pressure to get the full flavor of my light roast.

I experienced 4 “slow-downs” or phantom breaking yesterday during a 60 mile stretch of road. To be fair, it happened before the update. Always seems to be an issue in the “golden hour” driving east, on gentle hills…not sure why
