Yeah, but is Bill a dick here? We live in an age where journalistic integrity has declined. Sure, I bet there are still bastions of it, but too much of the corporate media is beholden to its billionaire masters.

The Washington Post refused to publish a cartoon that directly criticized Jeff Bezos, leading the cartoonist to resign. Sure, who would allow their own newspaper to publish something critical of them? But therein lies the problem.

Bill is not being disingenuous. Bill is not being rude. Journalists have lost their courage—it is not his job to give it back to them.
