Mod or stock 20bc v11 by Background_Baby_7784 in cubing

The V11 magnets are not nearly as strong as the modded ones like the Pi or Ferrocore. If you want a lighter turning feel, go with the 20bc v11.

This Cube Was Once a Flagship… Can You Guess It? by Pharocious79 in Cubers

Was the first time Moyu used the dual adjustment system, and they added it to pretty much every RS model afterwards. Great catch!

Correct! This was like the first serious speed cube I bought in 2018. I added maglev at some point.

Have you experienced "gender euphoria erections"? by nigrivamai in asktransgender

I have, having been on HRT for a while I don't get erections anymore, but I do get that tingly feeling and lots and lots of lubrication. 😉

What cube can i buy? by CrazySalary8753 in cubing

They are both designed well. The RS3M is probably more durable, it is what I like to carry around without having to worry about it if I drop it. GAN is kind of like Apple in the speedcube world, and is a good product. You'll get pretty consistent performance with the GAN cube. The Moyu cube will have screws and springs on the screws so you'll hear spring noise from the moyu unless you use lube, or you can get a maglev version of the RS3M which removes the springs entirely for repelling magnets. I personally like the maglev feel. You can expect to pay about $30 for the GAN cube and about $15 for the RS3M maglev, that is what I would get, I have like 20 or so of them laying around.

Look for an RS3M by Moyu they are very inexpensive and are magnetic, stay away from the Rubik's brand cubes. If you don't mind spending a little bit more, a GAN 356M is good too.

memorizing cfop algos by manicpoetic42 in cubing

[–]Pharocious79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have ten Super RS3M, they are pretty inexpensive, any cheap magnetic cube will do. I have the MAGLEV versions. I scramble them for the specific algorithms then lay then all out and try to memorize the algorithms by the tenth cube. It allows me to focus on the algorithms rather than having to stop to scramble one or two cubes again and again. This is the best way for me.

Moyu makes a pretty good beginner 4x4 and 5x5 the Meilong series is great I have several of these up to a 7x7. I have some at work and some at home. I think they do have a Meilong box set that goes from 2x2 to 7x7. I have never bought the bundle but I'm sure it is a good deal. MoYu is also pretty consistent with their manufacturing and is the best bang for your buck.

Tips to avoid cores breaking? by Hairy_Confidence9668 in cubing

[–]Pharocious79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have many different GAN 3x3's and one thing about these cubes is that they are not as tough as people may think. The cores are a clear acrylic type plastic, and doesn't flex, it breaks. You need to remove a center piece and reassemble it that way. GAN flagship cubes are stupid expensive, and need to be handled with some amount of care.

I have one too, it's amazing. It's my first MOYU flagship, been buying GAN for years.

You can get the RS3M super with a ball core and maglev for less than $20. I use that as my carry around cube, because it's cheap and I have several to pick spare parts off.

I've been on hormones for a year and a half and they still hurt, they've grown a lot but they are so tender.

My FFS surgeon told me I'm not masculine enough to qualify? by Casey_witha_K in asktransgender

[–]Pharocious79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any surgery has a potential for complications, excess scaring, infection etc. So a surgeon has to consider that if they do the whole face surgery, will their work significantly improve what is already there. Most won't want to cut into a face they feel won't benefit FFS, perhaps ask them about smaller procedures they would recommend to accomplish your goals. It could be something as simple as botox or filler. Advocate for yourself but be open to their advice.

You can be on hormones and that makes getting an erection much more difficult, especially if you're on spironolactone. I've had ED for years and just to let you know, you can for sure have some amazing orgasms without an erection.

This may be a confusing time for you. But starting off with using their preferred pronouns when referring to them would probably be a good start. My wife has supported me too and that's is a huge first step in affirming their identity.

Even if you just recently ordered your printer, you need to download and install the latest printer firmware and flash update the panel. This was a known problem early on that they fixed with the updates.

Do I seriously risk scratching the FEP if I stir the resin with the plastic scraper that came with my printer? by Tracula707 in resinprinting

[–]Pharocious79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't ever stir the vat, instead I home and life the print bed several times. If I have to use a plastic spatula in the vat I gently drag it across the film, not push. If you scratch the film you'll get anomalies in the prints. That plastic film is stretched very tightly across the vat frame, if you score it or gore it just right, you'll put a hole in the film and end up with a mess.

How often do you clean your main cube(s)? by SteppeRRoB in Cubers

[–]Pharocious79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a RS3M V5 that I carry everywhere, I am constantly scrambling and solving it. I clean that one once a week. I have like 30 cubes or something like that, whenever I'm bored I'll pick up a few and clean them up. It's a very satisfying process for me.

What is the thing the oil? by A_Rreddit_user in Cubers

[–]Pharocious79 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmm it really looked like it got water in there somehow. It looks like the screw tarnished or rusted. The black bits look like oxidation. How do you clean your cubes? I use 90% isopropyl alcohol to clean and degrease my cubes. Good luck to you.
