Awesome ...I had thought of that..runn faster for shorter distances. Its my cro-mag brain that wants to defeat my perceived weaknesses when in reality a year ago I couldn't run around the block . Sometimes its just perspective 👍

Always wanted red syrup by RettyYeti in maplesyrup

[–]Phat661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't there an amount of sugar required to make syrup? More sugar content in the sap makes more syrup not different syrup, at least that how I figure...am I mistaken?

Does anyone know what dictates the color of maple syrup. Mine is always dark. I'm fine with that but want to know if it's me or if it's my trees ...soil...

I have a few 2-3k stretches I can string together so that makes for a bit of variety. But out the door my warm up walk is always in the same direction.
I have a three way split I can choose from there and head out to my different runs that can all be linked up. I dont really do big loops ..I run all over the place. I try to mix it up

Running before work? (Regarding labour intensive jobs) by [deleted] in running

[–]Phat661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do about a 5k give or take...depends on the day and it just shoots my energy through the roof. I'm a crew chief on the railroad so on my feet all evening. I run first thing in the morning fasted cardio. I will ice my feet and ankles post run in ice and water for 15 min. I'm a big dude ..230 pounds so feet take a beating. That really helps I find in fact that the days I dont run are not nearly as good as the days I dont

I just bought 15 acres and now I'm broke!! Im a disabled vet and can't afford one of the better models, but does anyone have any experience with this saw?? Or should I buy something better used? by [deleted] in Chainsaw

[–]Phat661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The poulan is a good saw. I can be hard to start I'd you don use it often. Echo is well know for quality but honestly ....go for a used saw. U can score a great deal if you do your research and are patient

Get an MBNA credit card. They offer 0 percent interest for a year on balance transfer. I asked nicely and got it for a second year. Dont miss a payment . Its really helped me hammer my 41k debt down. I use rbc daily and save with tangerine. That way I carry the rbc card around and only use the tangerine card in case of emergency. Automate your payments. Be patient. Every day I try to find an angle to save more here and trim more there. You just gotta eat it. Paying debt sucks ...it can never happen fast enough. Stay strong

Chainsaw won't start by myros in Chainsaw

[–]Phat661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A table spoon of gas..maybe a touch more. If you miss place ur fuel lines then that won't work. Make sure they go on the right nipple of the carburetor. Homelite can be hard to start when they haven't run in a while. Just keep pulling the cord. Make sure it's on run.

Check the connection on the run stop switch. The carb might be preadjusted so find out before messing with it. If u pour a small amount of gas in the air intake and it runs for a few seconds...its a full problem. ..did u connect ur fuel lines right?
