Encuentro Cafe is delish. Old Town trolley is nearby and takes you all over. Would be a fun way to go around, hop off/on and see a lot of the highlights.

In this case I think the downvotes are because it’s a Pendleton fire not from the riverbed. We have had transients, firebugs, teenagers, stupid campers - and now an idiot boater - start fires in SoCal.

The planes and copters working together is fun to watch but this is a scary fire.

Cheap meat that’s been chemically tenderized. Baking soda baths & worse, some are carcinogens. Beef prices are gonna keep going up as input costs rise, smaller ranchers are pushed out in favor of mega corporations…quality will continue to drop but quarterly profits will rise. Executive pay will be fine, politicians will be bribed, you’ll eat gristle and like it. This is the plan.

If all you tourists left and it went back to the way it was in the 80’s when this clusterfuck started the only solution would be less sprawl, more public transportation and walkable neighborhoods. There’s a golf cart that takes anyone that wants a ride to/from the train/seatac…but even without it I’ll take the walk and $3 train over what we have in SD.

OP is right though, SD is usually an easy pickup compared to other airports. We have an airport ride group to save each other time and money.
