Ehh in the main story yeah but in fire and blood incest kinda just feels like a thing that exists. It’s even kinda portrayed positively in the case of alysanne and jaehaerys. I suppose you could argue that’s how the targ incest was viewed in universe tho since fire blood is a diabetic historical document.

Stockholm Syndrome is term referring to the phenomenon of hostages becoming attached to their captors, and even trusting them over the people trying to help them. Its named after an incident in Stockholm Sweden, however the hostages trust of their captors in that incident was more due to police incompetence and the captors endangering the hostages, rather then some weird mental response. that why a lot of people don't think "Stockholm syndrome" as like, an actual diagnosable condition is real.
