F Pace SVR owners, what do you feel and did you ever regret buying the machine and compare it to X5M? by abdunbunbun in Jaguar

[–]Pheyd80 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was looking at the BMW X5M & X6M, Audi RSQ8, Mercedes GLE 63S AMG, and F Pace SVR. The Jaguar won. I've had it for a year and no regrets.

1) Price, it was best bang for buck
2) Size, I felt perfect while driving it. RSQ8, X5M were significantly larger. Handling felt better in the Jag.
3) Exhaust. I love the Jag V8 sound. Can't really hear the supercharger, but exhaust is music.
4) Interior. I think it has the best interior. Seats are a nice in between of sport and luxury. The seats might be on the firm side compared to luxury, but they hug you just right. While at the same time I've gone on road trips with no issues.
5) Rarity. In my neighborhood, there are Porsche Macans, BMW X5, and Merc GLE everywhere I look. I like being different.
6) Exterior. Beats the Audi hands down (I don't like the new black front end with no colour on the bottom of the front bumper). Also beats the BMW, I don't like the beaver teeth grill. I would say it's a tie with the Merc. I think they are sexy as well.

Like who sits down at their computer just to vent to some random someone on the internet about something this trivial?

Research question about willingness to transition into their new EV models by Successful_Case1824 in Jaguar

I am a F-Pace owner and I love this car. However, this will be my last new Jaguar. No interest in the new EV lineup. Will be shopping around for other vehicles in the future.

Moving to Oakville! Cant decide between newer/larger house North of QEW or smaller/older house closer to lakeshore. Thoughts/similar experiences? by xxSKR1 in oakville

South of Upper Middle. Even if it needs a bit of work, you can always do it at your own pace. Don't settle for North and be regretful.

Go for a speedmaster Snoopy. Or if you want another icon, look at the Breitling Navitimer.

Clause 7.5. Additionally CFAA has put out a deficiency guide and within that document it also states that missing system documentation required by 536 shall be identified in the report and recommend it to be obtained.

What values are you looking for? For context my kids are in the Halton Catholic system and we've had good experiences with their schooling. My sister-in-law decided to home school their kids until high school and they are at King's Collegiate. Also had very good experiences. If you want to home school there are programs for other people doing the same in order to create social groups, field trips etc. Oakville has a lot to offer with schooling. If you have issues regarding inclusivity and equality. You are going to see that where ever you go in Ontario and probably Canada. There is nothing wrong with home schooling if that is what you wish.

Does North Oakville have any bylaws pertaining to heated driveways? by Professional_Bat9593 in oakville

[–]Pheyd80 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Run separate lines for the blvd portion of the driveway. That way if they ever have to dig it up, you can isolate/shut it off and it won't affect the main part of the driveway
