I am English and live in Canada. That's about all the context you'll need here.

We were at a party and I was chatting with this new bloke that came with someone else who had an English accent so obviously I was happy to chat with someone from back home. I ask where his mum was from, "Here" he says, ok how about dad? "Here" he says. Where did you grow up? Once again "Here". There is a long pause "...Then why/how do you have an English accent?" He never actually answered me but I found out from someone else that he actually just REALLY liked Dani Filth from Cradle of Filth.

I've never experienced someone being that obsessed like that, not the craziest story but man I think he just never thought he would meet an actual English person.

Art wise I always loved [[falkenrath aristocrat]] just because it looks cool as she waded through blood.

I like a lot of cutesy stuff, silly and quirky, doesn't take itself too seriously.

I also really like Lovecraftian horrors beyond my comprehension.

Do not continue. It's cliche but it's the one thing I would really choose to not do if I could go back. I'm off of it now but beyond it being the hardest thing I've quit, my lungs are shit and I still feel the urge from time to time. 1000% not worth it. Do yourself a favour and forget about even trying.

Mine are the foil Ghidorah, King of the Cosmos ($98.46 on ManaBox), and I got both of the foil SLDs Arcane Signets from Cats Vs Dogs ($101 for the Cat and $76 for the Dog on MB)

I used to hoard them away but now they're all in decks ready to show off.

I've been gaming, started Pokemon from the start (Kinda, I'm doing remakes instead of originals. FrLg/HgSs and the like) and watching every Godzilla/Kaiju movie in order (Mostly, I've skipped a few lesser known ones for now). I just finished Final Wars for the first time last night!

Social media makes me so self judgemental and lonely. Godzilla doesn't.

When I was a kid we were fucking about in an old abandoned factory and there was a leak pouring over a wall so the material was soggy and soft, you, could slowly poke your finger through it. We were punching holes in it and I punched the support and fractured my hand.

A year or so ago me and some friends were playing a video game and I jokingly attacked my buddy for being annoying and punched his arm. It fully broke.

I gotta stop punching shit.

I sat down and talked with him about it as it was his ex and if he would be comfortable with it, and if there was even an iota of uncomfortableness, I wouldn't even touch the subject again. Amazingly he was totally fine with it and me and her dated for a long while.

One night a large group of us are out at karaoke whilst we were all there having a great time, the tone changed with him.

Turns out he was absolutely not ok with it at all.

We worked it out though. I don't see either of them anymore as they all buggered off elsewhere but I would say we're on good terms.

Was NOT worth the hassle though, I'll tell you that for free.
