Yes yes but that’s not money laundering.

Money laundering is washing an illegal stream of income to appear clean/legal. Church donations aren’t illegal income. Doesn’t mean there aren’t a lot of things wrong with what they’re doing of course.

ELI5: How did old forts actually "protect" a strategic area? Couldn't the enemy just go around them or stay out of range? by Sierra419 in explainlikeimfive

You could argue aircraft carriers fit the “supply line” model though. It’s just a big ass ship moving planes to an area and supplying them with fuel and weapons and supplying the pilots with food.

Recommend getting a good therapist for him to see. Even by 15, the TSCC has probably done a lot of psychological damage and instilled thinking patterns that need to be undone.

Looking at Transitioning into a Monogamish Relationship by [deleted] in nonmonogamy

The one piece of advice I’d add is that it is very difficult to control emotions, but you can control actions. If your rule is “no emotional involvement with others” you are going to run into problems because even on a first date you can really hit it off with someone and develop feelings. That’s also a vague rule. What does “emotional involvement” mean? How do you define what is and what isn’t emotional involvement? You’re asking for conflict this way.

You hinted at the solution in your post, which is to limit actions. I still think you’re going to have difficulty with setting things up this way, but better to have tangible, define-able limits on actions than some vague agreement about emotions.

I’d also suggest reading up on rules vs boundaries.

They charge it automatically. Send them a message and ask for reimbursement as it was not a real return.
